I usually do the right-click paste but if that does not work then try the Ctrl+V.. Just tried both methods and neither would work from IE..

Yep I think you are right, must be IE, I noticed my banking site when i scan my deposits will not work with IE as well, but no problems with any other browser..

So is it IE11 or the MSFN forum? Maybe MSFN should just say optimized for Chrome and Firefox and leave off IE11

Thanks for the info MaxX, also found a free one at Tweaking.com (Registry Backup v1.6.7) http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/registry_backup.html that I am checking out now as well, then again I may just write a batch script using Hobocopy to backup and restore also..

The imageres.dll also has similar icon with better resolution that you could just default to as well without using a 3rd party Ico.http://s23.postimg.org/ropldtybv/Task_Manager_Ico.png

Question MaxX, I see you have a context menu with a Registry Backup/Restore, I am in need of something like this to backup my Win 8 and 8.1 registry, What program are you using or is this a script file that you are using? And for anyone else out there if you have a script or favorite app that you use to backup and restore your registry, post it here please..Thanks DP

If you want a better looking icon for Taskmgr in your taskbar, just make a shortcut fo Taskmgr.exe then right click shortcut >> Properties >> Change Icon then select the icon you want, save that then pin to taskbar and your done..DP

@Tenochtithlan Have not used this theme in sometime, but just installed (see link below) it on my Win8.1 lap (right-clicked file as admin) and it installed just fine, You said you were using UXStyle but I have had issues with that loading up which was hit or miss, so I have swtiched over to UltraUXThemePatcher http://www.syssel.net/hoefs/software_uxtheme.php?lang=en with no more issues with any custom theme patching, I would say do a system restore and backdate it, uninstall the UXStyle and give the UltraUX a try..DP http://postimg.org/image/7qxhiput1/

@Caspar, Use the variable %systemdrive% for C: regedit /s %~dp0\AeroGlass.reg to make silent and why D drive? you could use the tmp instead..DP

I also have noticed at the end of my 8.1 ua install that it runs WEI performance check in a dos console as it boots to the desktop..DP
