~ Adds "Eject DVD-RW Tray" to the "My Computer" or "This PC" Context Menu. ~ This is a improved script from my older Eject version that used nirsoft (which was constantly getting FP malware/virus flags) and a eject.bat script (that flashed up the dos console instead of being totally silent). INFO: - This has been tested and working on a laptop optical drive with Windows XP to 8.1, 32 or 64-bit. - Very fast response time with ejection of tray and totally silent. - 100% malware/virus free JScript Encoded File https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/7cc0a90ad467eee9d82d95e4a4659254eff43afc54838f4b916619a4298a6952/analysis/1396712722/ INSTALL NOTES: 1. Use the below Download or just copy the below scripts to a .txt file and rename to "ejectTray.jsE" and "Install.cmd". 1. Then copy and paste the "ejectTray.jsE" file over to the System32 directory. 2. Run the "Install.cmd" batch file (runas admin) to merge script to the windows registry. REMOVAL: - Includes remove.reg for any future removal from context menu. how to Build Pre-Activated Windows XP Disk

Sure you can force a activation with it but still won't be legally genuine with the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Tool for XP. -

That key is a old volume license corp key, you can add it to your sif file so Windows won't nag you for a key but your version won't be genuine. Then, with XP support ending on April 8, I am sure there will be some good deals to be had.. -

Why don't you just make life easy and use "Win Toolkit" which can integrate Drivers, Language Packs, Theme Packs, Registry Tweaks, Windows Updates and more! http://www.wincert.net/forum/files/file/5-win-toolkit/

I don't speak French but I think your question is on the limit for command items with the context menu, from what I have read and experienced as well, Windows sets a limit on context menu items to ensure it will remain uncluttered, usable and relevant to users. DP

speed for install apps

I have a I7 Intel, 16gb ram and ssd drive and my 2010 ProPlus VL silent install avg about 5 mins..How slow is slow for you? Also the file size of 2010 is 1.04 GB compared to only 718 MB for 2013..DP -
@NoelC, Your right about the issue with IE, I reported this some time back but still not resolved, and yes I also almost always copy and paste into the threads and rarely just freehand type in like i am doing now, then again I keep forgetting or having a senior brain fart with this issue when I launch IE and type everything out then try and paste in and then crap its a no go . My backup browser Chrome is never a issue and on the plus side it saves my username and pw so saves me some time.DP

Should have explained it better but you are correct the remark or comments can be used with opening and closing tags "<!--code -->" to remove the specified line code or add comments to it, and since the OP has code tags on EVERYLINE of the office config.xml then office does not even see or use it during the installation, also even on the first line if the OP had left off the code tags it would not have been a SILENT install because SupressModal and Acept Eula are both set to No and not Yes! DP..

Well since this the OP's only post and probably last post, he could just plead ignorance.

Need Help tracking down drivers for two devices.
DosProbie replied to clivebuckwheat's topic in Device Drivers
I know you have your driver issue solved now but what I do for hard to find "unknown" drivers is to go to Windows updates first and you may get lucky and it will find them for you and also use a free app called DriverIdentifer http://www.driveridentifier.com/index.php which will scan your system from the Hardware IDs and give you the different Manf. sites to grab your drivers..DP -

Just trying to keep this thread clean. Added the DiskConfiguration before the Display (both places, x86 & amd64): <DiskConfiguration> <WillShowUI>Always</WillShowUI> </DiskConfiguration> <Display> And there are no lines in my Autounattend.xml file for CreatePartitions or Wipe. Thanks edit= Trying to install Win7 Ultimate 64bit @RUSerious - If you want to create and wipe the drive manually just leave out the <DiskConfiguration> Section which contains the CreatePartitions and ModifyPartition then your install will prompt you at the "Install Windows" screen with "Disk options" for selecting the Drive Partition and Format options. P.S you also mentioned x86 in your autounattend , which you don't need if doing a 64-bit install <settings pass="windowsPE"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="NonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <ImageInstall> <OSImage> <InstallFrom> <MetaData wcm:action="add"> <Key>/IMAGE/NAME</Key><!-- Specifies OS and KEY To Install from the X:\sources\product.ini file--> <value>Windows 7 ULTIMATE</value> </MetaData> </InstallFrom> <InstallToAvailablePartition>false</InstallToAvailablePartition> <WillShowUI>OnError</WillShowUI> </OSImage> </ImageInstall> -

Since we don't know what is in his "install.bat", I suppose he could be passing "ALLUSERS=1 /qb! /norestart" as parameters? Cheers and Regards Bobbymat26 posted that he was doing a ua install with Windows 7 32-bit and the 7-zip website Does Not offer a 32-bit .msi file only a .exe but as you can see his silent switch is for the .msi, I also requested from him the install.bat file a few days ago but am still waiting on it DP -

Did you do a UA install with 7-zip? you must not have or you would not say that, anyway I DID and after completion I noticed 7-zip was not showing up until I did a logoff or reboot.. -

<CommandLine>cmd /C start /wait /i %AppsRoot%\install\install.bat ALLUSERS=1 /qb! /norestart</CommandLine>You have 2 issues with your commandline, you don't use a .msi switch with a .exe install and also you don't use a silent switch with a bat file -

Instead of using the older dos .bat extension use the .cmd instead.. DP
