  1. == MRU-Blaster v1.5 == Here is another cleaner for your "most recently used" lists on your computer. nothing against CCleaner but it also does not clean out the mru files as well but this little app works as advertised. Tested and working on Windows 8 x64. Download ==> http://www.brightfort.com/mrublaster.html Enjoy and happy cleaning..DP
  2. Was missing my old cabmaker app from XP so I went "Googling" and found this neat little nlite add-on over at Wincert.net, I just converted it over to a batch installer and tested on Windows 8 x64 and works really well for making cabs on the fly (Win7, Win8/8.1). Download==> http://rghost.net/51331004 credit-more info:http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/6895-addon-cab-maker-v-33/ Enjoy.. Happy New Year! DP
  3. @duffy98 (reply to post#51) "I'm not 100% sure CCleaner removes "all" flash cookies.." FYI: I use CCleaner Professional and can confirm that CCleaner DOES NOT clean all flash files.. DP
  4. If you are one that likes to tinker with Windows 8, 7 or Vista then this little portable app may be just for you. The "System Logo Changer" by AlphaWaves allows you to quickly change your logo on the fly and also restore back to default logo as well. Enjoy..DP D/L: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/System-Logo-Changer.shtml Author site: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/35653-System-Logo-Changer

  6. Yes, I think I saw a similar issue. The icons were missing but I don't know when exactly they reappeared. For me this seems to be a bug in the system Thanks for the confirmation, Don't have a icon issue with 8 just with 8.1, even tried a refresh icon script from batch file but that did not work until I did a logoff and back on or restart..DP

  9. Recently when doing a re-install of Windows 8.1 and finishing at the desktop I have noticed my icons in directories for exe files are not displaying. Only after I do a logoff or reboot will they display properly, Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? ..DP
  10. Well, you don't have on your profile what OS you are running , but if Windows 8/8.1 just copy my script to notepad and call it TaskManager.reg with the .reg extension to create a reg file then click on it to merge over to your registry, after that just right click the "This PC" icon on your desktop and should show up as task manager, then any app that you want to close out such as a the Music app can be turned off..DP
