now that I understand whats going on with this project. I think I dont wanna test it no more, but rather keep far far away

the post on the page is goal for beta 2.5. beta 3.0 will add far more, as im giving some time to release it. any game, that has a demo, or client, where you need to login (mmorpg's) I can make patches for. also, many users will also be making patches, after they figure out, how I do it, and add more support for programs/games. also I will do my best to meet users requests, if they are no too great. also, requring a second windows for this project, has been removed in beta 2.5. also expect 3.0 to have printer/scanner/camera/controller version. and pure gaming/internet kios version.

actually, I learned a bunch and no there is no change in size I removed nearly all the entries in class_id and what did it do, to the space used by the config folder, nothing. no need for insults, dont mind some creative critism, but insults so no more arguing, LOL now I know we arn't competing

yes, that is a huge portion of it. this is a hint here for aegis, but im sure hes aware the registry found in \windows\systrem32\config will not actually lose size, once windows is installed, from cleaning it all cleanup, must be done, pre-install (hive files) if you actually want to save some space that is

so you made it so, you cant restart your computer, without using the power button? I can make my project boot with remote procedure call. So i guess were both into messing up XP lol but anyway, if like your old project, you dont use explorer, then, yah, you can easily remove some more stuff, but add back the gui, then, u have more dependacies, it goes on and on. but if your os is malware ... blah then, I guess were on the same idea, and using the same methods. and we're just gonna be the same things in the end, just i'm starting from the bottom and your starting from the top. i've been done though, for 7 months now, just making it noob friendly, since, even your first project was beyond me when it first came out. but, I never gave it a shot, cause of no GUI, will this project be the same? will you be not having a graphical user interface? anyway, Im far more knowledgable now, from my own project. cool things with lsass.exe btw, but just saying it can be done, makes it easy for it to be copied but, atleast our goals are the same, get the most out of our gaming machines.

heh, yes many IM's might of been misplaced, in this if you really want to be a beta 2.5 tester, make a post in this thread, just to make sure you get it.

actually it wasn't to argue I was just trying to make sure, you add support for things I do, I dont actually care who uses what project. I just want more users, to do there best, to secure there os. and my claims arn't unfounded, but tested claims, give me a larger virus base to test, ill test it. since IE is gone, you have to use firefox, elimiinating spyware. and no I dont belive you can leave all that stuff, and be smaller than me, there isn't a way to do it LOL. unless, you are just, copying my project all together, but even then, ive tried every file to remove, only way, you can be smaller is without UI, but then you must give up, all your support for other stuff. its also good your working on the registry, unless your done, your no further along on that than I am. , besides, its not releasing, a clean registry, that its all about, its about, getting a clean registry to work with your users software. but just like everyone else in this thread, I too wanna try your project. it seems like a cool idea, something I might dual boot to. since you wanna test mine, I guess its all fair game then

yah, 2.7 is still nice for a dual core they produce more heat. how low did u get with burn-ins I did burn-ins for a while, got .1 diff once

yes, true, but I never said it would be functional, just the most secure, and lite, but mine will work with anything people want, just add it back, lol steam works in microwinX so far, with a 1Mb patching, so its all good, we both followed a different path. with your old project, I was the more functional, since I had a GUI still.
