  1. Ill try to remember many testers not enought inbox, lol
  2. thx dirtwarrior, I thought about 2k support with you in mind.
  3. not currently but when I have a new computer, I plan on constantly testing/updating 4 planed version of microwinX Ill leave you to guess what they could be oh and after these 4 version make a public release. Then I plan on other os support. like 2k3, mce (well 3 version left to guess) , and 2k for those who refuse to switch LOL
  4. I don't understand what you mean here? well at first I was making what is now microwinX for myself spend about 2-3 month on perfecting it for me. then I thought it would be cool for others to get to use it. there has been 3 betas so far, 1 1.5 and 2. 2.5 will be far better, 2 is good enought too. but its no where near where I wanted to be by this time. I hope to get back on track on with this project, once I am on a new computer, after all the things in life I have going on right now. personally I think beta 2.5 , around jan-feb with beta 3 (public) shortly after, like march.
  5. inet access yes, 2nd partition yes, if you want 57MB, if not, you can use a method to be released in beta 2.5 which will allow it to work on a single partition, with a few extra MB's this method, which many will enjoy, is thanks to digitalfrost , he has been a great help, and I wish I could of kept up with the project, like I was.
  6. I think battery support, is in windows xp, no matter what you'll just lose the meter telling you how much is left, from what I can see.
  7. yup, foxit is a great program.
  8. yeh, im continuing on the project, fixed my sig to relate it.
  9. ok, I just not doing well right now. anyway, thanks for the nice comments. just dont know when I'll be releasing beta 2.5 its done, but has bugs im trying to get rid of, but just havn't seemed to have the time.
  10. edited cause things are better now.
  11. best of luck
  12. very interesting idea indeed.
  13. thats my parents, near-bankrupt as it also pointed out, I am moving out, once an appartment is available.
  14. and you want me to join projects, HAH. anyway, I could care less what you think, its not like you'll be using microwinX anyway. for the rest of those who want to post comments similar to Aegis, plz dont, it doesn't help. Nor will it make me want to work on this project anymore than I do now but only cause me to say forget it, it works for me.
  15. LeveL , yah ill take all the credit for whatever you think I did LOL yes, beta 2.5 wont be long, a little bit of a delay, yes. But in the end, I have had a very busy life right now, currently I am working on my lawsuit thingy, and making sure I get all I am entitled to. Aegis, true two weeks without updates, but the first post expressed when, next beta's will be coming. tom_vilsack or maybe by the time your finish downloading beta 2 LOL Anonymo thanks, like your avatar I am also preparing myself for a new computer, making sure I lose nothing, and have all I need before the switch. to not fill this thread with more personal stuff, I added the attached .txt file below. If you dont want to read about gdogg's life, or what his next computer will have in it dont read it.
  16. I normally get this error from memory errors, when I am trying to get ddr 600 out of my ddr 500 lol I just put it back down to ddr 570 and no more bsod. but I doubt thats your problem.
  17. so would crest white strips do a better job? lol
  18. ext2 in windows, is possible, but not booting from ext2 yet, maybe someone will figure that out eventually like the people in the reactos project did.
  19. XFS would be fragmentation-less making it uber fast
  20. yeh, it was fun, but I cant boot from ext2/3 so, i gave up on that.
  21. I find it a new conecpt, one that would of been better used in the first place. I think, if anything, its having windows with a linux feel, the way things install, but without leaving windows. Alternate UI is where I wanna go next, linux, if it gets better more like osx86, i want to buy one for $250USD, apple, hook a enhusiast up, I build my own computers.
  22. since I am a nlite user, I use xp home oem, its cheapest, and gives me the same results
  23. Thanks for keepin the thread clean Jeremy. anyway, I know you guys can be impatient some times, but like nlite, patience is always good. anyway, I am looking into ways of auto patching, with nlite/rynavm intergrator, program addons, found in the nlite thread. since that would be great, I think I might as well work on that too. quiting smoking is hard, from what one warning label said, its addictive as cocaine, I think its worth it whatever it takes, including, junk food lol.
  24. heh, I do finally have a working printer/scaner/copy/fax thing in the house after beta 3, printer/scanner/copy addon/support thingy will be added
  25. bleep lol the smoking
