Hehehe. That's true. I have answered this question several times already. njdouglas, scooby-newbie is right. You don't have to intergrate SP2, because it's integrated already. Simply copy the contents of cd1 to a folder in your hard drive, then copy the CMPNENTS folder from cd2 to that folder also. You can safely delete the the two folders in the CMPNENTS folder, because you don't need that.

To install the software silently, try /S. That's all I know. Hehehe. The task that you want to do is a little complicated. Try using AutoIt or a vbscript.

The question is, how did you create your setup.iss? I think you should choose "no" when installing it in record mode.

Hello Babe! I don't use Daemon Tools, but I think you can solve your problem by removing it from your start-up or from the registry (msconfig).

Oh I see.. I don't know, because I'm using my own installer. But hey, I don't use Google Toolbar either. I suggest that you build your own installer just to find out if you'll have the same problem. Install the software in record mode to generate your own setup.iss.

Yes gunsmokingman. I know how to do that with the dialogs. But, what I want to change is the font of the text "start" in the start button itself. Just like what you did on yours.

You dont need your first sfx. Your second one is enough.

I'm also looking for a way to register it.. I think the registration is not in the registry. Maybe the program creates a file that contains the activation data in the %appdata% folder or in the installdir.

Dude, not everyone know how to build an msi. And for a big software like this (less than 300mb), it can be really difficult. Tinywoods, I think the easiest solution here is using autoit for the serial number. This is one of the strangest InstallShield build installer.. Or maybe there's a way to do it that we don't know.

Yes. On my current system. It SHOULD work for everyone, because that is the back-up of my registration data. There is an option to back-up the registration under the Help menu. If you hit back-up, it will create three files for you. A text file that contains the instructions, a reg file that contains the registration, and a dat file (sm.dat) that contains your bookmarked sites.
