GlobalScape did a bad job on making this InstallScript setup.. I don't really use google toolbar, so I need to find out another way to install this software. Maybe there is a missing line in the setup.iss. I don't have the google option either.

azaze1, I think I think I know what your problem is. The installer I made works fine on my machine. But when I tested it on vmware, I got the same pop-up. About the resultcode in the log file, if the value is zero ( 0 ), then the software is installed properly. Other than that means error.

Like Alanoll said, this is definitely a custom action. If the custom action is in the property table (public), you can modify it thu command line. If not, download tool that creates mst, then download a tool that edits the mst. Then remove the custom action. lilweirddude's suggestion is another approach. And I think much easier.

To do that, I think you just have to delete the nppdf32.dll plug-in.

Yes please. I want to try it. I haven't tried editing the commands in the original replacer cmd yet, because I'm still not good at complicated command scripts. The INUSE.EXE is good and working, but it will not replace the system file until next restart. By the way, using the replacer script, it will allow you to replace the file silently. The only problem is it still asks you to press any key to exit blah blah. I can't find the PAUSE command in the original replacer.cmd.

Because of the Windows hotfixes integrated to my ua, I need to replace my some system files with my hacked ones after Windows' installation. The only way I know to do it is by using the replacer tool. Replacer tool http://www3.telus.net/_/replacer/ Is there anyone here familiar with this? How can I run this tool silently? I made my replacer script, but it's still not silent. I tried using the tool from Windows 2000 Resource Kit called "INUSE", but it's not as good as the replacer tool. Are there other tools I can use?

I use Cerberus FTP Server. It's a freeware, and it's really easy to use. Like prathapml said, Gene6 is really expensive!

I had the same problem 2 days ago. It stopped responding during the last stage of installation, and there's no way to uninstall it, becuase it's not really installed. I don't know what the problem is. I can't uninstall and reinstall it.
