[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\CompositionPolicy set to 2 (32-bit DWORD) - I've changed this and after restart Aero was enabled and selectable in display properties.. B. Restart DWM by opening a command prompt with administrative privileges : - Type 'net stop uxsms' - Then 'net start uxsms' I restarted the computer instead.. Thx for this solution..
How's that possible, Microsoft said that since the release of Vista RC1, they have continued to recieve excellent feedback which helped them to improve the overall quality and performance of Vista.. And to quote: "RC2 reflects that feedback and includes important improvements in performance, application compatibility and fit and finish work. Customers should verify any outstanding issues not addressed during their RC1 testing."
Has anyone of you managed to run MMC Console or used AdminPack on latest build of Vista (5728)? It seems that I can't load few snap-ins, just wondering is it me or is it Vista
