So you want it to run like a server?? I would get at least 2x 512 RAM. Disable services such as -Wireless Sero Configuration (only if you dont have wireless router) -Uninterruptible Power Supply -Portable Media Serial Number Service Get nLite do all those things etc. And recommend a P4 2.2+ghz

Well i was thinking about doing CCNP: CISCO Certified Network Professional A+ Core Hardware im studing for it right now. Going to take the test soon.

I would actually head towards Call of Duty because alot of people do have that. And just for advice if you dont know already. I would just recommend having a extra server just for game servers because it would slow down the web hosting part. And central US would be the best.

Yeah i was just thining about geting a Cisco Cert. after i take a few classes. Im going to take a Hardware/OS class. And im also going to take a Networking Fundementals and then build up from there to take the test. I can already build a computer easy. And i know alot about networking but this is just to fill in the blanks. I know im doing this at a young age (14) but i think it would be worth it.

Yeah prapthmal has a windows XP Registry file. I forgot where i got it but its very useful i use it on most of my computers. Youll have to ask him.

Usualy you want to download the most updated for your router... So keep an eye on that.

I completely agree with un4given1 100%. Theres no point to a certification. I mean there just papers saying you have some knowledge of computer. But how MUCH knowledge. And thats what most of the companies look for now-a-days. Just for a cert. And i was thinking of getting a small one from Cisco. And when i get older i dont know. I might get anyother because thats what good companies look for. But of course un4given1 got to build high-end servers without a cert. And work at big computer corporations. So hey anything is possible!
