Im going to ahve to agree with un4given1. Hes right on all his facts. XP is a more stable OS. Fredledingue..... How in the hell could you base on with OS is faster by holding down a button to reach 100,000 characters... Thats sad. XP is more stable at holding programs... and keeping alot a programs running at the same time. I dont think my XP has crashed in forever. For the hackers,viruses,spy-ware, that has nothing to do with it. I highly doupt that you have had 0 viruses without a anti-virus on 98. Then i will give you one. For for XP install SP2. Gives you the built in firewall. For Anti-Virus Symantec. Spy-ware get Giant Anti-Spyware. When i play games on 98.. i will have the same Graphix card... and it takes forever to get from the game screen>>quit>> and get back to the desktop quickly. XP does it almost instantly.

Yeah but T1 if from a different company. Right now im using Cox Communications. And i think if i got T1 i would go to Sky Ranger or something werid company like that. But if it worth it i mean..... How many things do you download at 5 mb?

so if i had a choice to keep wit 5mb down/800 up or full T1 for under 100$ what do you guys think i should get?

Very ture but even with that..... my cable rarely slows down... so i still get almost 3 times more the download speed.so moslty with T1 your paying for the upstream

Friends, i have a little problem. I ahve Nvidia GeForece 5600 Ultra and for some reason i cant play medal of honor allied assualt demo. I run it and it goes to a tanish screen and an window error pops up saying..' We have encounterd a problem with Medal of Honor. and those two buttons asking. 'Don't send' and 'Send'. ??

i dont get the point of having T1. Right now i have cable paying 53 a month with 5mb down 800kbps up. And i could get T1 for under 100 and i know that has the 1.5 mbps up but it also have 1.5mbps down doesnt it. Thats nothing. The upload is almost twice as much as mine but the downstream is 1/3 of what i have. So whats the point of T1 compared to Cable besides the upload?
