    IE Animations

occache.dll holds the IE animation. AVI number 18432. Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\XPize\FILES]. Look for occache.dll and edit its value to whatever number you want. Run XPize Reloader and restart. It should fix the issue.

    Patching I386

    1) If you use nLite, integrate XPize in the Hotfix Integration page. nLite will do all the job for you. If you feel better XPizing and then nLiting, do first the XPize Patching. 2) Look at the screenshot. If you want the extras look in the MSFN unattended guide ways for integrate cosmetics into your uA CD.
  3. Yep, it sees you are the only one Maybe you changes some settings without knowing it in your uA CD?
  4. Try TweakUI from MS.
  5. Have a look I think it is not beta2, but the latest build shown in PDC 2005...
  6. I dont watch TV, nor listen to the radio. I have my own good stuff for watching and listening
  7. What the hell is that Crazy Frog ? :S
  8. Thanks, my suspicions were right I will update the site soon with this new info.
  9. That appeared just after restarting the computer? or did you use XPize Settings? Go to System Properties - Advanced - Performance - Visual Effects and select "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". It is strange that XPize did that for no reason. There is nothing relating to that in XPize code, except XPize Settings.
  10. Then I will have to investigate on what DLLs are causing this. Will take long
  11. Uninstalling msxml3.dll should fix the PowerDVD issue. Regarding WMP, I dont know what happens there, but try uninstalling wmplayer.exe or using the Lite version of XPize.
  12. Yeah, manually applying the theme doesn't help, royale doesn't show up as an available color scheme. Unfortunately I've already tried a fresh download/uninstall/reinstall Looks like the problem may still exist in the release version. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bad news Will try to fix in next.
  13. I think it is a good idea to have all the MS visual styles for XP to date in one package. Slowdowns? Where? A normal PC wont suffer any slowdowns for that. PS: Im waiting you at google talk or messenger
  14. GO to Windows\Resources\themes and apply Luna manually. Look if Royale is available in the color scheme menu. If it is not, the VS hasnt been replaced succesfully. But I thought that bug was fixed in final. Uninstall and try downloading again from my website the final version.
  15. yup, performed the default install. I'm able to browse to the windows\resources\themes and see the luna theme available. I'm unable to select it from the theme dropdown from display properties, or browse to the theme and manually select it (defaults back to xp theme.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The thing is that XPize replaces default luna for luna + royale one. Look in the color schemes available and search for Royale.
  16. You selected Luna + ROyale for install right? Look in desktop properties and see if Luna has the Royale option in color scheme
  17. What do you mean by taskbar/windows? The Visual Style didnt work for you? Using Final XPize release? Maybe a screenshot may make thing clearer.
  18. The 64-bit support is really hard. Reshacker is not compatible with 64-bit files, so a new resource editor must be programmed. Resource Hacker is not open source, so anybody will be able to improve it. I'm sure some good programmers will think about it and will make a resource editor 64 bit compatible. Untill then...no XPize for 64 bit
  19. I think this is a very reasonable explanation. kalavera and me will look for a solution for this soon. Sorry for the inconveniences.

  21. Is this the battery status icon in the system tray? Is it meant to be like the Longhorn battery instead of the default blue one? Thanks for the update XPero! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it is the MacOSX one..
  22. I dont understand very well you English, sorry. But if you dont want taskswitchXP use /notask. /noskins does not install the visual style. It is all explained in XPize homepage.
  23. yup /noextras = /noboot /nologon /notask /nocmd /noskins /noicons /nowall /noscreen /nofiles = /nodll /noexe /nocpl /noocx /nooe /noadmin /nomisc
  24. Yeah, they get distorted, tried many times and they still get distorted...Probably a Windows bug.
