    [BETA] XPize 4.2

Romey: Run XPize uninstaller and select to Restore MS Dlg pointer to MS Sans Serif. If that does not fix the problem. Then it has to be another thing, or not even XPize's fault.
  6. I need someone using Media Center Edition to tell me one thing: If you install xpize with Royale VS and then uninstall Royale..is Royale actually removed? Does MCE protect it to even overwrite it on xpize install? I need to know this. Thanks

  14. That may occur due to the Tahoma tweak XPize applies. I will make it optional in next version, along with other cool new features I'm working on.
  15. A Shell Pack Maker using XPize engine to create new custom shell packs...It was in mind, but I decided not to start that project. It will take a long time to be developed, and by the time it is released, Vista would be here. Anyway, let me think more about it.

    XPize 4.1 MCE

Hy all, I succesfully installed XPize 4.1, but after I chose for a while XP default style, now I cannot go back to XPize style: all the "non-style" things are still xpize (like the Standby-Shutdown-Reboot menu), but don't know how to go back.In the properties, as you can see below, there's no choise, and XP Reloader doesn't work for this problem. How to solve it? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=60617
  17. In next version the boot screen will be tweaked using another method. Lets see if that method fix your problems.
  18. If you duplicate the background colour of the System Window and use it as background for your logo, you won't have to worry about transparency. It will only look good with that specific visual style. Not a really good solution IMO.
  19. Microsoft already contacted me, "XPize is really good stuff" they told me, but I dont think theyre going to add my stuff to XP and of course I wont be paid if that happens. I will study solutions in order to try to improve the big icon support in XP. Thanks for your comments and ideas.
  20. XPize = XP No Vista improvements for now.
  21. save it as 32 bit file (24 bit + alpha channel) There are some freeware apps to make 32 bit bmps (transparent)
  22. Direct link? What version?
  23. It is standalone, isnt it? ? No you need to install it wont work not installed on a HD or usb key or cd/dvd Install what? run the exe!
