  1. The picture is from my computer... and it is Traditional Chinese Version.. Can I delete the inst.exe and install.exe? I am so afraid that I delete these two files, which will influence the installation of .NetFramework. If I can, then I am wrong.

  10. According the member's problem of Windows XP SP2 on this forum, I was thinking of the solution to threat Windows XP SP2, because there are many unknown problems when you install Windows XP SP2 on nonreinstall computer (before you install Windows XP SP2, many softwares are installed with Windows XP SP1a or Windows XP SP1 which don't have the problems.) so.. I have the solution which is shared by the member on ICST forum in Taiwan.. 1. Reinstall Windows XP on clean disk. (It will ruin your data on first drive, so if you have important information on the first disk, back them up to the second drive.) 2. Install Windows XP SP2. 3. Install other softwares that you like. (about 1 and 2: you can use that Windows XP CD intergrated with SP2, that will save your time) (about 3: you can make your own unattended XP CD to solve it, but you need to be a advanced user or above) If you were using the Windows XP SP1a or Windows XP SP1 with many softwares, then I would recommend you not to install Windows XP SP2, because there will be many unknown problems after you install Windows XP SP2. Here are some posts of the members in the last 10 pages on this discussion area which have the problems after they install Windows XP SP2. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27775 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=26498 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=25620 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27211 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27269 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27230 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27409 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=24595 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27138 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=24534 ok, that is all..
  11. You should remove the memory to solve this. Maybe the problem is on that.
  12. What do you mean "next pack"? if you mean SP3, I think that Microsoft will not release it in the short time.. so...unless there is a big problem, Microsoft will release the SP2a, SP2b, SP2c...
  13. Do you mean the inputs? If yes, please see the old post... TIP: type "input" in the search of the forum... and select "unattended windows" in the section... I know your english is bad... but I can understand what you want...because i am good at computers..
  14. Maybe you are using the old version of VMWare... (There are unknown bugs if you are using old version.) I tested it on the lastest version of VMWare and it work. 19. HD Image PRO's 1. You don't have to reinstall the computer.. 2. It is recommended the simple user to use, because they don't have batch experience. HD Image CON's 1. It is difficult to update the software, because the software factory often update the software. 2. You have to format HD. Unattended CD PRO's 1. You don't have to stay on the computer all day, just put the cd in your cdrom and go out, when you got back, you got everything, cool? 2. It is easy to update your CD for CDRW user, because you can rewrite cd in many times... when you update the software. 3. You don't have to format the HD's...(I always format the HD because I have backup file in second HD.) Unattended CD CON's 1. It is not recommended for learner and user who don't understand batch. 2. You have to wait for long time. 3. You have to test it on your computer when you don't have VMWare or Virtual PC. When you got error, you must fix it. too trouble!
  20. I think you should remember if you use other computer in public.. Your password maybe used by other people....You know, the public computer is very dangerous... because the news of Taiwan said computer of Internet Coffee in Taipei has keylogger, virus and trojan... 23. um...I was just looking at the Service Pack Section on MSFN homepage. I have sugesstion...can it be changed on the download page of Microsoft? Because some of this forum members are from the non-English country (Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Swendan, Beligum, France, Germany.....) like I am from Taiwan and still use Traditional Chinese Version of Windows XP even if I am in Canada. like: Windows XP SP2 Final http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/6...935-SP2-ENU.exe should be http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en Other Service Pack in SP section should be changed by above.
