Windows XP SP2 will be RTM on August 5th, 2004. Windows XP SP2 will be RTW on August 10th, 2004. Windows XP SP2 will be WUR on August 25th, 2004. (Out of topic: I will make a unattended CD when Windows XP SP2 is released, so I can install Windows XP on my computer in shorter time.) WUR stands for Windows Update Released. RTW stands for Release to Web. RTM stands for Release to Manufacturing. All information is referred, maybe there is something wrong. Please refer to the news from Microsoft if that so.

If you want to use your computer as desktop, then Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional would be better for you. If you want to use your computer as server, then Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server would be better for you.

If that is true, Microsoft will be in trouble, because Windows XP SP2 won't destroy the harddrive. and Microsoft Windows XP SP2 has tested in many times. So, Microsoft would not do a trouble thing, or it will be in trouble.

I went to the links that BetaDroid™ gave in this forum, then I know Microsoft will delay the update of Windows XP SP2 to August, but Microsoft can not remove to delay again, because Microsoft has delayed the update of Windows XP SP2 in many times. I will wait for news from Microsoft.

As the advanced user, I am so glad to hear this news, because Microsoft Products have too many flaws. I will wait for Windows XP SP2 coming and download it to install on my computer.
