  1. Adobe still has a long way to go before they look anything like the Playboy mansion, heh. That architecture looks pretty futuristic compared to your normal surroundings... geez...
  2. Not enough details. Sounds like you or him or both of you need to learn more about hardware before you decide on building a gaming machine. Onboard graphics? No f***ing way. If you're getting a 160GB HD, why not get 2 80GB SATAs and put them in Raid0? Much faster and better performance. try to get at least a GeForce 6600GT card. AMD CPUs are best for gaming. I will never get another Intel CPU. As far as RAM goes, you could get 2x1GB OCZ PC3200 Dual Channel for a pretty good price. That's my best bet. I'm getting an AMD 64 3700+ and will OC it to about 4400+ or so. As for PSUs, get an OCZ Modstream or PowerStream.
  3. Stop walking on the chickens!
  4. Biohazard, I'd move that stubborn attitude aside and see the doctor about any sharp pains and worries of a clogged organ/artery. I'd rather be healthy and alive and be able to glare at the doctors rather than be on the brink of death. There is so much to live for even if you don't know it. Life is important.
  5. puretna.com LMFAO Seriously, Google.
  6. I picked my gender and age and it said I had to vote against something, so I just picked female, same age for the hell of it. I'll be 21 in June...
  7. Kevin, adorable kitty.
  8. Wow... A month or so back I had the worst bowels of my life. I had cramps every 5 minutes, didn't go to class and couldn't go outside. My diet was bad. I was crapping mostly blood. I drank a s***load of water and soup, just easy stuff. In another week or so, I was all better. But, man, the energy it sucks out of you, enough to make you pass out... I know somewhat how you feel as far as pains and cramps and blood go, so I feel for you. Sorry to hear about the whole ordeal but as long as you look on the bright side, you're showing a good example for others in similar situations.
  9. DeepFreeze is godlike.
  10. *Wonders if people bother to even look around at other topics surrounding their own anymore* It's really sad and doesn't look intelligent on your part... there's a sticky and a "Best Reg Cleaner" thread... I've tried them all, seriously... and the best one I've seen so far is TuneUp Utilities 2006. It isn't free. The best way to clean out your reg is to use a program that scans all different parts of the registry, looks for invalid entries in ActiveX & COM+ as well as anything else you can think of. Then go into regedit and check out: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE for any obvious crap you know shouldn't be there.
  11. *Switches back to PerfectDisk* Sorry, but 65% CPU usage (which slows everything down) just so stuff can be defragged on the fly, isn't my cup of tea. The idea aroused me for a moment, but experiencing it turned me off.
  12. *Switches to TuneUp Utilities 2006*
  13. Just switched to DK10.
  14. SP2 contains all prior SPs. Use nLite, much better than XPLite and free.
  15. Nevermind, my friend helped me figure out that it was this movie: The Thirteenth Floor (1999)
  16. I saw this movie several years ago. it had to do with certain people interacting with each other, and there were alternate realities from past, present and future that these people existed. In the end of the movie, some guy gets killed and then wake up in I guess what was the "true" reality (which was futuristic) and he took off a headset that I guess was how his mind was connected to the previous reality he was just killed in, and he walks out to see people he thought were dead standing out by a river or something. Very sorry if this is confusing, but I'm trying to figure out what some movies are that I've had spontaneous memories of over the last month or so... I wanna get them in time for XMas. Here's the list of movies I wanna get so far: eXistenZ Gattaca A Beautiful Mind The Mighty Gladiator Pearl Harbor I got 7 movies a few days ago: Cellular Con Air Heat Dante's Peak The Core Enemy of the State 12 Monkeys Anyway, if anyone can help me figure out the movie I'm stumped on right now, I owe you access to my FTP for some wicked software, or an E-card or something, lol.
  17. PerfectDisk will defrag your page file at boot. There's also a little tool on sysinternals designed specifically for the page file, dunno how it is in comparison to PerfectDisk, though.
  18. My friend showed me this video like... a year ago. Very interesting. Government conspiracies have always had my interest. I'm more concerned with the ones that have to do with people directly. Like "mind control" scenarios. "Sleepers". Apparently, a weird thing went on in my home town, might still be happening, I don't know. A former friend of mine called it the Stirling Project. People being abducted for strange purposes. The government thinks we are all just numbers or tags... silly things like that... well, I think the government is a anthill of ants...
  19. Makes me curious why Sygate would report anything at all, then... Thanks, Dig. I should have known better.
  20. Such as pr0n? I'm not into midgets, transvestites or watersports so I don't think it can be too bad, lol. For the record, I'm watching Star Trek TNG Seaon 4. Both "Now Playing" options in tweaks are unchecked.
  21. I have DLL Authentication enabled in Sygate Personal Firewall Pro and MPC has reportedly attempted to send outgoing traffic 3 times during normal AVI playback in the last 36 hours. Severity = Major Direction = Outgoing Protocol = None Remote Host = 0.0.0.0 Anything to be concerned about?
  22. If Skype supported MSN, I'd switch to that. Some things about Trillian really bug me now.
  23. I play Garry's Mod a lot.
  24. Nevermind, I did some more looking around. I told him to keep checking anandtech.com...
  25. Hi. I have a friend who lives in Brazil and he is coming to Toronto on X-Mas day. His father will likely buy him a new laptop. He prefers gaming. he likes to play RTS games like AOE3. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of any laptops with 512MB of video memory? Any released yet? 256MB even? Thanks, Jeremy
