  1. in this file, ive put the files in the particular directories they belong in, enclosed is the full directory structure, just unzip & u are done File: http://ezshare.de/files-en/139372/AIO.rar.html delete winnt.sif in the MAIN XP HOME FOLDER (root\setup\xp\home) ONLY put a winnt.sif in HOM2 (your unattended install) just make sure "SetupSourcePath" in txtsetup.sif is pointing 2 the correct directory (both (in hom1 & hom2 ) can be pointing 2 the same directory)
  2. astalavista, the icons are right in there, u can pretty much guess which the control panel is, only 3 main places u need 2 look 4 icons shell32.dll mydocs.dll explorer.exe
  3. that works, but i altered your code @="c:\\WINDOWS\\Resources\\icons\\System\\hdd.ico" instead of ""="c:\\WINDOWS\\Resources\\icons\\System\\hdd.ico"
  4. never thought of that EDIT: just tried it & it dont work
  5. yes, u can use anything 2 "hack" hack = modifying the file 2 suit your needs *customizing* open shell32.dll in the program, browse 2 the place where the icon is stored (009 gunsmokingman said) right click, replace resource, browse 2 the icon u want there instead
  6. download resource hacker open reshacker , point it to your shell32.dll expand the tree to the item u want 2 "hack" right click it, choose appropriate option voila
  7. how r u executing rd? threw a batch file? or using runoncex ? REG ADD HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v 1 /d "cmd.exe /c RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\InstallTemp" /f try that
  8. your pic looks incorrect 2 me, send me a screenshot of your folders (do this if your using a specific config other then default, i will send u the file u need) but tell me first, did u do this? http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/xpprosp1.htm if u have pro http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/xphomesp1.htm if u have home just so u arent confused HOM1 = xp home original HOM2 = xp home unattended PRO1 = xp Pro original PRO2 = xp Pro unattended (examples from flyakite's site)
  9. RD /S /Q "%SystemDrive%\InstallTemp" Should work, i ALWAYS put quotes around mine, whether there is a space or not

  12. "You are Farouk Bello. You are Executive Director of Commercial Bank of Africa. Your client was in a car accident along the shagamu express road. You can't find his relatives so you want to share his $25.4 million with me. You require my positive response."

  17. PRO1 = XP Unattended Basic (As an example) PRO2 = XP Unattended + programs (As an Example) LEAVE EVERYTHING IN PRO1 THE WAY IT IS (aslong as its setup correctly ) copy PRO1 paste it in same directory, u should get "Copy Of PRO1" as the folder name, rename it PRO2 now inside setupldr search & replace ALL Instances of PRO1 with PRO2 (Same way as u did for i386 & PRO1) (Using a hex editor im assuming u know how 2 do this since u completed the first step in making pro1) & do the same with PRO2.dat
  18. it doesnt matter, choose whatever 1 u have & yes, flyakite's guide does need updating, but u can pretty much figure it out for sp2 @htc why are my posts a joke? cuz u didnt know what i was talking about? well if u had actually USED the program i meant, u would have known they are options inside the program moron ps: i know what i said above is alittle childish, but so is what he said

    Run Xplode @ t-39

how can i do as the topic title says thanks, im trying 2 eliminate $OEM$ as much as i can im trying 2 run it as detacthed program from winnt.sif DetachedProgram="..\Install\Xplode\Xplode.exe /xml:#SOURCEDRIVE#\Install\XPlode\XPlode2.xml" my directory structure is ROOT\Install\Xplode & ROOT\i386 is where winnt.sif is
  20. i know its kinda late, & your question is probly answered, but i stumbled upon this topic while searching for something else - .NET Framework SP1 (some hidden error, and XPlode moves to the next <item>) - Adobe reader 6.0.1 (the same) - K-Lite Mega codec pack (gives 4-5 errors on un-replaceable SYSTEM32\ files, and user must click "skip" on a dialog box, otherwise everything remains stuck) 1) i use ryanVM's switchless .net + sp1 which works 2) i use adobe 7 beta (extract the files & run the msi, it works 4 me) 3) i use klite codec pack, this is caused from files being in use i think, they are windows media player files i believe, extract them & copy them later or something (i dont use wmp) hope this helps
  21. yep, thats the way i do it, i even copy ALL $$ & $1 during t-39 using xpode
