@minalgar the "unknowns" are visual settings found in control panel > system > advanced > performance > settings

u need 2 get the uxtheme.dll for your version of windows.. if u have sp2 (which most of us do) get the uxtheme.dll for sp2.. if u have another build get it from there, u can google for these

if theres nothing on the screen but the computer boots up, i would check your videocard/monitor if your computer doesnt boot, u can test your ram, best way is 2 take out all the ram except 1 stick & try that, if u only have 1 stick, try swapping it with another machine u COULD try a stress test, but that wont really work IMO

did u set a registry tweak maybe?

hey thanks 4 the -sfx switch, i must have looked over it lastnight when i read the help file but, EVERYTIME i extract it, its wanting 2 make a folder DOCUME~1\Administrator\Desktop instead of adding the file to the desktop :S what am i missing? i believe ive looked @ all switches, its late & ive got done work not long ago, so im kinda tired, its probly something small on my part EDIT: all i want this right click 4 is 2 hide all & overwrite all & 2 extract 2 current folder, i can always edit it manually if i need 2, this will be just a "shell" thanks

do u have files copied over during unattended install early? or by $OEM$\$Docs ? this could cause that problem with the account named adiel.pcname
