  1. MERRY CHRISTMAS YA ALL!! Any news on the Italian translation?
  2. 1 week has passed... any news on the italian translation?
  3. You were right, i missed some things in my test. Thankyou all! Now i just wait the bugfixing of the italian translator.
  4. You're right, but i'd prefer to avoid bold-fonts for a pure aesthetic reason: each category -> bold, each software -> regular. Using sub-items means that the main item gets bold font... isn't it?
  5. OK! Keep up the good work!
  6. Hi Benjamin. I'd prefer to wait for our official translator, Luca, and listen to what he wants to do. Maybe he already fixed this issue. Anyway - I only have Resource Hacker v3.4.0.79, is that ok for this job? Now i'll try: i'll download latest italian build from your website, and try with it.
  7. Hello all! There a serious problem in the italian translation: when using WIHU also for creating users, there are some system folders in %USERPROFILE% which keep the english name instead of adapting to the italian WinXP folder names. Here they are: "Start menu" must be translated into "Menu avvio" "My pictures" must be translated into "Immagini" "My music" must be translated into "Musica" "My videos" must be translated into "Video" "Nethood" must be translated into "Risorse di rete" "Templates" must be translated into "Modelli" "Recent" must be translated into "Documenti recenti" "Printhood" must be translated into "Risorse di stampa" Not doing these translations results in a mess in %USERPROFILE%, where italian folder names co-exist with english names. This happens with every user created with WIHU.
  8. Hello all. In my WIHU ini, i want an item to follow the selection state of a previous item. Example: in this code description.6 = XnView v1.74 command.6 = %SRCDRIVE%\$MistoMare$\XnView-win-full_v1.74.exe /VERYSILENT /SP- selected.6 = 1, inherit description.7 = XnView v1.74 - registry settings command.7 = regedit /S %SRCDRIVE%\$MistoMare$\XnView_config.reg test.eval.0 = selected.6 selected.7 = if.true disabled.7 = if.false i want the 7th item to auto-check when i check the 6th one; and vice-versa, i want the 7th to uncheck when i uncheck the 6th. I thought i understood the test.eval thing, but i can't make it work. Can i do that with WIHU, without using a child entry in my menu? What is the right syntax? Thankyou.

IMHO, it would be better if you updated the main site with any news, and post in this forum only 2 words: "site updated". This would be easier for you to mantain (i think), easier for us to look for any news on your excellent tool, and better for keeping the forum for its main job: to be a forum = a place where people talk about something, which is different from a place where to search for updates on something. ... And you would have an up-to-date website, which it isn't at the moment. Everything IMHO, and just to be as precise and tedious as i can be. All this doesn't impact on my good opinion on your work!
  11. OMG, now it's running! I got it: - BEFORE, i right-clicked -> New... -> MS Word document, and instantly renamed it to "help.rtf", and finally double-clicked it for editing. This does NOT create an RTF file, but a DOC file with RTF extension! - NOW, i opened Word, File -> New, edited, File -> Save as... -> RTF document. Everything OK. Thankyou!
  12. i've tried to create a simple RTF file with MS Word 2003, but it doesn't display on the right-pane of WIHU: it shows garbled characters instead. Maybe it's because of a non-standard implementation of RTF by Word2k3, i dunno... Which app do you suggest to write WIHU-compliant RTF files?
  13. Uh, just started to browse the original, 54(?) pages-long thread, and found the answer at the beginning: WIHU.EXE /AutoInstall must be used for this. Also [settings] skipsettings=1 does the job. Thank-me for the answer!
