7zip is only another archive format, download 7-Zip install it, right click files/folder & select "add to archive"

i believe if your wanting 2 run an unattended install from hardisk, u need the winnt.sif file in either a floppy or i386 folder

compress the files using Jcarles utility (search the site) or u can just use makecab (comes with windows) & in txtsetup.sif add these lines under SourceDisksFiles Oeminfo.ini = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0 Oemlogo.bmp = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0

its not $windir$ its %windir% & it should work, cuz i copy mine during T-12 & they get installed ok

u could put it in i386 folder cabbed & set the directories in sourcedisksFiles (in txtsetup.sif) which is harder, but more professional looking if thats what your going 4

hasi , what about collapasable catagories? like having to click a [+] to expand "System" or "Multimedia" this would be good 4 me as i have alot of applications & it keeps them neatlt organized
