Hi folks I can't seem to insert an image in my post. I browse to it alright, but if my image is on my desktop, name "ipaddress.gif" after I browse to it, what should I put in the drop down IMG box as the "complete URL for image." TIA mac

Hi folks sometimes when I go to a forum, or web page, I get this notice telling me my IP adress and my ISP. Can someone tell me how it is done, and if it is a danger to my machine? Thanks guyos

Thanks xla. This poses me another problem, - I do not know if I am set to assign DHCP. I set up the router as per the instruction book, it does not mention DHCP, I only know that I have static IP address, and that I can connect my desktop and laptop to the router. Is there a way to tell? I will try to attach a capture of my network setup if this will tell you anything. my connection is adsl router, with nat. Hope the capture shows. mac

Hi Folks, can someone please tell me if and how I could get a Bartpe CD to log me online. I have managed to create a CD that boots, I am on broadband with a router, but dont know how to get online after the CD boots up. Do I need another plugin, or can I setup network plugin to do it. OS is XP Professional. TIA Mac

Hi folks, I have tried to make a BartPE boot disk, but can't get it to boot. Done 4 so far. When I decompress the d/loaded BartPE, it goes into a folder on my D drive with 13 files and 2 folders, I then click on Bart.exe, it asks for my XP CD and builds a folder on my C Drive, I notice that the folder on D now has three extra files 18 in all, including an iso iimage, like a CD. Am I right to burn fron the folder on the C Drive? what about the D folder with the iso image? I use Nero to burn an ISO image from the folder on C, but it fails to boot, it runs after I boot into windows. I get an orange icon on the start in taskbar. My problem is getting it to boot, any ideas where I am going wrong? Using XP professional. TIA. Mac
