same issue here. it doesn't take too much cpu except when it is scanning a dir to show how many files/space do you have. also on taskmgr is only shown what the program itself takes on memory BUT when you close it you can see that frees a LOT of virtual mem took by images and desklets you loaded.

from xpize 3.0 there's an uninstall feature. you'll find copies of your original files on C:\WINDOWS\XPize plus an uninst.exe to revert the changes made. if you integrated it on your uA CD, then the original files can be found on your desktop under the XPize folder. this way, if you didn't saved the dir you can't restore your files except from the original setup cd.

my project started like a recovery tool. from a PE system you can access fat32/ntfs partitions with read/write possibilities. from my bartpe i can burn my necessary data, check for virus, recover deleted files, browse inet and many other things. some people use it as way of launching a windows setup and others use it to keep a server, a minimal system online 24/7. it justs depend on your purposes but you better start here

i own 1, they cost less than a pc pad, you can connect 2 pads using 1 usb and it supports force feeback. mine is named "EMS USB 2". no problems so far, you don't even need the drivers if you don't use the vibration feature. i think it was something between 20/15€...
