@oioldman the example was done with 8+3 (DOS) names to prevent the use of quotes. you can just rename the file "XPize uAE 1.1.exe" to "XPize.exe" and that's all we can't forget we're playing with batch files these are the 3 possibilities: if file is named "XPize uAE 1.1.exe"... it depends on your purpose, photo-editing (photoshop) or logo-design/presentations (corel)... for my needs, photoshop fits better
