Yeah Tris....I know they have it but I'm talking about without having all the electrodes hooked to your head. It's not like any of this technology is out of reach....it is just a matter of developing it when ppl are ready for it. I believe that you are right Tris...in ten years speed is no longer a factor so we start looking at improving other things. IMO...the computer is fast enough when you flip the switch and there is no boot process...it pops on like a television does. When you say the application, it pops up faster than you can blink. I would say that it would be cool to have it pull up what you are thinking while looking at the screen but then what if you are thinking about some chick and your wife is right there? Oh boy! Rick

Unfortunately on upgrades....all of the mods you add are lost and you have to do them over. I'm sure they will add it back but with the board upgrade...there is no point in having to go and edit all the php files to put that member bar hack back in if you are going to be changing stuff around again quickly. But I do agree..this is confusing as crap! I love that member bar. Rick

When I first got my laptop, the default setting allowed my wife and I to access each others stuff from either account. I had to set a password for both of us because I run a youth program and didn't want the kids on my files. Anyway, when I took the pass back off, my wife's side of the computer is not longer accessible from my side and vice versa. Anybody know how to fix this? Rick
