set the timeout to 30, then reboot the pc and see what happens, make sure you right click on the boot ini file and go to its properties first as it is probably set to read only. when you reboot you should see win98 on the menu, but by the look of it, you wont, ive never seen previous operating system on a boot ini file before.. hmm.. did you actaully run the winXP upgrade by any chance? i bet thats what it is, let me know when you have tried the first suggestion

ive been messing about for about 30 minutes, i made a logon screen, i had to think of a style so i just chose T2 for my first one, it was a test to see how it was done ill post a Tutorial if anyone wants one, its very easy... heres a piccy, and the file can be downloaded by [b:] clicking here.

copy the files ( should be a directory and a .theme file) to WINDOWS/rescources/themes then go to start > control panel display and it will be in the menu for the themes

After 72hours the program also starts making pop up advertisements appear on your machine, infuriatingly often. After receieving complaints about twistedhumor.com from people in America, and the UK, both by email and telephone, (i called your company and got an unhelpfull response, a friend in PA spoke to yourelf) i would have thought this site would be closed by now, especially with the oportunistic way this is exploiting the feelings of people since September 11th. i wonder how many people are now infected and are not at a PC user level where they have the abbility to track down and remove this piece of evil? i know of a few, i have removed the files from thier machines myself, how many are still infected? how many possibly had credit card information stolen due to cybercon.coms lack of response to date? please remove this site!! as i stated before, if microsoft or another large comapny emailed yourselves complaining the site would be closed within the hour. do the 50 or so people on our group who we have found so far have to report this to the FBI, the Red Cross, syamantec, mcaffee, and any internet governing body you may have in the USA before cybercon takes action and stops supporting the blatant illegal activity of this site? i hope not, it is a shame that so far nothing has been done other than promises of action over the phone or via email, and yet no action taken. OR make sure your pc is set in the BIOS to boot from Cd as primary device, and put the cd in the drive and restart your machien and install from there, select the option to format the drive to NTFS ( yes even if win2k is already on NTFS ) and install on the drive. i actually find this the best way to do it as you have more control over what happens at each step, and its very easy try this if you still have problems

its because windows is wanting to be reactivated.. but thats blocked, im sure thats what this is, and its safe to wipe the whole file off. oh and i sorted my burning problem out... crap discs was the problem... i thought samsung where good too.. normally ok, but these had shadows on the disc if you tilted it in the light, like cloud formations..wierd! ah well its sorted now

never do an upgrade.. it fills your pc with junk left over from the previous OS and will run like the guy from cutoffmyfeet.com

i like the horse bvut even with cable the page takes ages to load, try a site that has midi files on for web pages, you should find mustang sally in no time, one thats got no lyrics in etc.. so loads fast. and if you want the music playing all the time here a tip i hope helps.. try stick it in a frame that way only the main page is changed to browse the site but the frame with the music in stays still hope that helps... the ftp is up if you still want dreamweaver and fireworks just login man.. it will be on undisturbed for about 30 hours both are version 4 (latest ones)

bah.. ill sort it for you, try logon to my ftp matey in about 1hr.. its now 23.19 one problem.. you want ultra dev or normal.. oh bugger it.. ill put ultra dev on its same with more options
