its just like switch user.

everytime i try make a copy of a PERFECT xp disc i get read errors on the disc when i scan it with clony. the errors arent always in the same place they appear anywhere and continue from the first error point, its annoying the hell out of me, ive tried making an ISO and burning that.. nope, ive tried doing a direct copy.... nope, ive tried using clone cd ... nope.. nero nope.. arggh any ideas ? doesent happen with any other discs i copy just xp :wail:

the menu under ctrl alt del is all messed up.. theres no top on the box so i can check out system performance etc.. or close the box either.. i have to right click on the green cpu usage icon in the tray and shut it like that :S

used to be good.. now its always busy servers and lots of pricks uploading MP3 ripped off the bloody radio.. (and bad quality radio at that!) and half a song with half another song on end etc.. d*******s spoiling it again, same as on edonkey, lost of cocks uploading beta copies and passing them off as final issues and editing files that are beta to make them look like final ( faked system works 2002 is all over edonkey DO NOT GET IT YOU CANT WIPE IT OFF!!!):grump why do silly little cocksuckers spoil stuff when its good? --- all the time! some folks should be banned from net for spoiling it for rest of us

what software did you use to burn it with and was it a closed ISO file or an opened one? you almost there.. oh.. you didnt do what Chris suggested did you ? LOL dodgy sod

DONT TRY THIS!! and if you have already press ctrl alt del and tell me what happens.. i started this.. then decided it looked s*** on the site.. so i pasted the xml file and the explorer file back.. and my pc now does something odd when u hit ctrl alt del.. let me know it might be unrelated.. funny coincidence though eh?

theres no apx in the bios anywhere.. but win98 )primary partiion) shuts down fine, its like the xp strtup screen but inplace of the blue scrolling bar is the text "its no safe to run off you computer" just incase you where wondering what its like to see that bloody anoying screen lol.. maybe it wont do it if XP is on the primary partition?

drew.. its easier than any OS you have done before bud.. just go for it.. do you know a mate with a Cdburner? if so pinch his drive and put it in your machine.. burn the iso.. then put it in drive and reboot pc.. then press a key when told to to boot from cd and follow instructions.. select a partition and format it to ntfs with teh disc its all on the menu, if you have installed win2k from disc its just like that! easy stop panicing and try it.. just back up your s*** first!!

look.. i kinda get the impression your taking the p*** now...

put the cd in the drive.. boot the pc.. install from the booted cd's menu system......

i once downloaded MGI soft dvd MAX and then rang up to say it didnt work and got my money back haha..(its supposed to run on win2k and it DIDNT!.. so i installed it on win98 partition lol) it dont work on xp either.. dammit best dvd software ive used.. the sound is awsome on the latest one!

id leave the D drive alone.. if you want your drive with apps on to be NTFS then use partition magic 7 ( not 6!! it wont work with xp ) or fdisk (from dos) if you format it before installing xp

devils0wn goes on disc...... what have you got, an .ISO file? if you have then burn it to disc.. if its a folder with sub folders and files inside it probably still goes on disc and is an opened .ISO file, otherwise its a filthy ripped copy and should be deleted off of your pc. When you are on an NTFS system yes you can access a fat32 drive and get files off of it... BUT you cant access an NTFS partition from fat32 - wont work the other way round. Why do you have so many discs? your ide channels must be full.. cant have many cd drives etc on there bud... you need to let us know what you have first before we can help you to install it

ace is just winace's compression format, like zip, rar, gzip tar etc etc etc, some other aplications will open ace file, but sometimes you may have a problem opening them ( eg.. if its made with a newer version of winace than your program is made for ) i which case get winace and open it. ht*p://www.winace.com i use winace and winrar they do everything your ever going to need

your printer is bringing it out of standby, turn it off then try go into standby, hope this helps, let me know if it does or not

zonealarm works perfectly ok, i think you only have problems if your user acount isnt password protected..... try it see if im right, it works fine on here 2 users both pass protected acounts, only single guys seem to moan it wont run right .....

oh yeah.. forgot, the file i got was called something like Flightsim-serial-crack.exe looks like a ZIP icon, which should have made me notice sooner as i use bloody winace and winrar!! also, i noticed on remote assist chris you tend to open zips by double clicking on them NEVER do that, always right click on the file and extract to... or extract to a location etc hope you fix it soon bud bad s*** :eek: :mad:
