  1. Hi all! I formatted my computer using my UACD and when it completes and I try to connect to the internet using Firefox i get this message: "Error trying to validate certificate from login.one.se using OCSP - corrupted or unknown response". login.one.se is my ISP's homepage that I have to visit in order to logon and start using my broadband. Anyway, I've never had this kind of problem and I was thinking that maybe some of you guys maybe know how to fix this. Oh, and my windows is nLited. Can it be that I've removed a component that is needed in order for internet to work? Thanks in advance! Marthax
  2. It shouldn't be a problem. Sure you can use batch commands with RunOnceEx. It doesn't matter what you execute in there as long as windows knows how to run it, but I would agree with Durex. It's unnecessary to use both methods as one will do.
  3. Sure you can. Use the Cd.txt method to initialize the correct CD-ROM variable to the computer and then input it into the shortcut in desktop.ini. That should work.
  4. I think you should find the answer to your problem here
  5. Just because it works on VPC doesn't mean anything. VPC doesn't load your drivers which means that they haven't been tested and can be the cause of your problem.
  6. I managed to solve the conflict. It's ok now. thank you all for your replies:). Cheers, Marthax
  7. I think that Xplode could solve your problem when it comes to making a flexible installation where you can select what you want to install. When talking about profiles from various programs, using silent switches and AutoIT would be the most effective way.
  8. I really don't agree Ben.Hahlen. Does it matter if you create My Documents on C:, D:, E: or any other drive? %USERPROFILE%\My Documents means that Windows has the present location of My Documents registered and knows where My Documents is so there won't be any problem when you search for the location of it.
  9. You could use the %UserProfile% variable to have a batch file search in My Documents. Although this will only work if you have one account, it should be able accomplish the thing you want to do.
  10. Sorry if I have been a bit confusing, but it's like this. SP2 is integrated. I use DP Graphics Pack A, DP Sound Pack A, DP Chipset and DP LAN. I used method 1 and I now realise i probably caused some errors by not copying it correctly. I chose GuiRunOnce. I've nLited my CD a lot to remove all the "garbage". Then I use Xplode to install all programs. Pretty basic UACD. I guess I'll have to slipstream it once more and this time edit BTS_DPs_autocopy.cmd to set the correct values which I didn't do the last time and then use the RunOnceEx method with DP. That way, I'll avoid the conflict. What do you think?
  11. the thing is that I don't have a Cmdlines.txt as I don't need it...so how am I suppsed to clean it? And I guess that I'll have to throw out basically the whole "UACD" folder as otherwise, the cd can become a bit messy. I'm not sure about this part, do I or do I not have to recreate the folder? I am for instance, if I slipstream it again in the same folder and use another method, then the old files will be left on the cd, creating a UACD with 2 DP methods. Also I never run DP from Xplode, I've never set that thing up..So what should I do?
  12. But, why defining the variable? Just show xplode where to find the files you want to install in your *.xml file. What do you mean with this? If your talking about the stage where Xplode installs your requested things onto your computer then that's not correct as Xplode does not install. It copies itself over to your HDD and then executes with the default *.xml file. Not sure if I understood you question right..
  13. the problem is that I don't know which value DP has in RunOnceEx. I've never selected it to be a part of RunOnceEx so I got really suprised when it showed up and started integrating files. What should I do? How do I check which value DP has in RunOnceEx? Another thing about RunOnceEx. When a value executes in RunOnceEx, will the other values wait for the first one to complete before they continue doing their things or do I have to use /wait?
  14. That's really strange since Xpize doesn't affect cmd as far as I know You sure you didn't install something else at the same time?
  15. RunOnceEx gets loaded into the registry by Xplode. RunOnceEx executes the CMD.
  16. Hi All! When my RunOnceEx executes at first windows logon it executes a cmd that deletes all installation garbage. After that I get a window that says that the DriversPack couldn't find the files as they are removed already. How do I solve this? Before, when I saw this DriversPack executing at first logon it was integrating some files. I checked out my drivers for everything and they were fine, so I guess that it's not essential but, still I would like to have the error message removed. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Marthax
  17. Ok, I tried it out and it didn't work out. I assume that the "installdefaultcomponents=yes" assumes that certain things are located on the disk and if I accidentely removed them then it means that the default networking things will not get installed, am I right? Any other ideas?
  18. that was it . Thank you all for the replies. Cheers, Marthax
  19. Hi Everyone! I've been sitting with my Cleanup file for a while now and I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it. It keeps complaining that it cannot find the specified file. I've tried various syntaxes and none of them works. This is driving me nuts. Could someone please help me out here? This is a Syntax that gets the "Cannot find the specified file" answer returned: del %UserProfile%\Desktop\VLC media player.lnk Cheers, Marthax
  20. No, i didn't. Perhaps that was my problem. I'm gonna try it out now and see if it works. thx TheeBeets.
  21. Personally i prefer just creating my own image, cabing it and then drop it on my UA cd. It seems easier than creating registry tweaks. I guess it's up to you, whatever suits your needs.
  22. ok, thx a lot for the quick reply
  23. Greetings All! When I use the /S switch for the UA installation of Xpize i get an error telling me that it cannot create a System Restore point. No wonder since I have disabled it, however this forces me to interract with the installation to make it continue and therefore it's not UA. Anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance! Marthax
  24. You could just create your own desktop background, rename it to bliss.jpg, cab it and replace the one in your I386 folder on you UA cd
  25. Hello! I'm practically finished with my UA cd and everything is working except one thing. When I try to connect to my primary computer from the one that just had the UA installation done, it says that it cannot connect to it (permission talk bla bla). I thought that the problem was that the NetBIOS protocol wasn't installed as I had a similar problem before so I installed it but, that didn't help a thing. I'm beggining to think that I accidently removed a service with nlite that were supposed to be left untouched. Anyone who knows which services are demanded in order for a normal network to function properly? Thanks in advance! Marthax
