Hi I want to Create shortcuts into the Quicklaunch panel with cmd batch files and do several file operations to sort the Startmenu. It dont work. I´m using shortcut.exe v1.11 and copy xcopy command. Is there a reg entry to disable the Documents and Settings folders write protect? im testing the xplode free version and want xplode run and setup the files direct from cd without need to copy the installation files to the harddrive first. do you mean the #xplode# var is NOT the path xplode is installed to on the local disk? so i can define the cdrom drive with a cmd file and then launch the xplode tool to setup the whole components from rom. please correct me if im wrong. thanks
