  6. Recently, we have had many people join MSFN because of members offering to make certain graphics (signatures, avatars, logos, etc.) without charge. Please keep in mind that our members are offering to do this during their own spare time, and anyone who joins MSFN without making a decent contribution to the forums will be denied a graphic. Contributions include helping members with their technical problems, as well as submitting any interesting or important ideas/projects/news that would benefit MSFN. This does not include answering a question by a simple "Yes," or "No." This is a community that specializes in helping people with Microsoft products, as well as other operating systems, such as Linux and Apple's Mac OS. We are not a graphics community. Though we have a graphics forum, it is only there for people to submit their work and to ask for other members' opinions and suggestions. It is not there for people to ask others to create a graphic for them, as the forum description describes: and If a member offers their work or services to others, or offers to create a graphic, then this is allowable. However, we ask that you please refrain from asking someone to do this under force. If you would like a graphic created, please do so after making a sufficient contribution to the forums. Thank you for your cooperation. - The MSFN Team

  8. I'm actually fed up of people joining MSFN just to get someone to make them a sig or other graphic. If you really want something like that, there are other forums on the Internet that specialize in doing things like this for their members. I don't have a problem with people who have been active on MSFN and have actually contributed an idea or project, or even asked a few intelligent questions, but those who join and ask for a graphic without helping anyone out, or something along the lines of what I previously mentioned, are certainly not welcome. If you want a graphic made, please make a decent contribution to the forums before asking. [ Topic closed. ]
  9. Ever thought of renaming the file's file extension? That's what I do to transfer those types of files!
  10. You need to use crossover cables in order to connect multiple hubs/routers/whatever to a single router.

  13. Haha... The page looks horrible in IE... At least it's formatted properly in Firefox! BTW, that error shows in Firefox as well!
  14. Hehe... I decided to give my site a new look late last night for my birthday... A little bit of tweaking and got what I wanted! Oh, and a special surprise for IE users!
  15. http://www.ncix.com Bought my DVD burner from there... VERY quick!
  16. Stupid IE! Thanks, worked like a charm!
  17. Now using XHTML 1.0 Transitional but no go...
  18. Thanks guys! 1 more year until I'm of legal age in Quebec! And a few more weeks until my fourth year of being part of MSFN!
  19. XHTML 1.0 Strict CSS And some PHP (which I doubt is causing the problem) Works fine in Firefox, Opera, and Safari on Windows and Mac.
  20. Also works fine in Firefox and Safari on my iBook. Stupid IE...
  21. Hey everyone, If you browse over to my site in Firefox, the page will show up just fine, but if you do the same in IE, all you get is a fuschia page with nothing else on it. The source shows, but not the actual content. Anyone got any idea as to why IE is acting this way? Thanks.
  22. Palm III and Palm IIIxe... I tried the reset button a bunch of times... The backlight would just illuminate every time I tried.
  23. Oh well... My Palms are non-responsive... So much for that!
  24. Or a Virtual PC!
  25. My friend once bought a video game at this store, and it said that he was member #1337. That "The Price is Right" pic is priceless!
