  1. shadesters, I went to the Toshiba driver DL site and found these for the Qosmio G25-AV513. Is your AV13 a finger check - found none for AV13. You should DL and use these. Whether you have video driver or not is not going to effect how you install goes. Fernando 1 is the driver expert here and will add further, I am sure. Enjoy, John.
  2. shadesters, so that we have more information, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
  3. buggie, you have some really tough questions here. I cannot venture a guess on most. I suspect you do not need drivers for your ATOM, so removing the Intel stuff should make no difference. For the missing drivers, I can only suggest you put Drivers > Multifunctional and Hardware Support > PCMCIA back in and see if some or all go away. I am mainly posting to say: Please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
  4. Patosan, I do keep .NET on my systems always. It is used by several applications I have including, Catalyst Control Center (Video panel). I see no big problem with removing .NET. It should not take that long - just go through the Add/Remove. Running nLite or any other application requiring .NET under a virtual will required .NET installed on the OS running under the virtual system not the host. Well, unless the virtual system require .NET to run. I use VMware Server but have never used VPC, so don't know about it. Enjoy, John.
  5. Nezumi, sounds like you are using a RAID controller in the external box. If so, you need the drivers for it not the SB600. You do need drivers for it for your other drives. Are you sure you can install an OS and boot from your external RAID controller? Please post a link to the controller and we'll see if there are text mode drivers available for it. Enjoy, John. EDIT: Assuming that you can boot from the external RAID, you should install the text mode driver for it only and not the SB600. Install only normal drivers for the SB600.
  6. Nezumi, quick reply before I look at your links/attachments. Please remove the Last Session_U.ini quickly. It contains private information including your key and please attach the Last Session.ini. Thanks, John.
  7. Nezumi, your RAID is really and eSATA, external - with SB600? Are you using the RAID controller in the SB600? Have you enabled the RAID in the BIOS? Does Windows Setup see any HDDs? We need to see more information. Where are you getting your drivers - please provide link? Also, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
  8. gutenmorgen, most likely it is the fact that you are running nLite under Vista. If you don't add an SP it will probably work. We have seen this many times. You can run nLite under XP under a virtual system if you are running one. In the future, please attach (not paste) your Last Session. Enjoy, john.
  9. Thanks, Ponch, I noticed that after I had posted. Embarrassing! Enjoy, John.
  10. we have a sever language problem. I have translated Fernando 1's reply into Aribic. If you do not read this, please tell us what language to try. You can use Google tranlate to convert your questions into English. Enjoy, John.
  11. TedJBrown, not knowing anything about the AddOn you recommend and having good ones available in these forums, I doubt the moderators would be interested in making yours a sticky. Is it a slipstream AddOn as the two I will recommend? For XP x64 and XP (32 bit) Enjoy, John.
  12. Darkforce1, please attach (not paste) your Last Session as, we asked, and find the NLITE.IN_ file in the nLite processed folder and attach it also. If you are running nLite under XP x64 to create an XP (32 bit) ISO, that may be a problem. Thanks, John.
  13. Butterknife, one mistake some make is to not create a new (empty) folder to copy the CD contents into. NLite then takes the whole C: disk as the source. So start over, make a new folder and copy all the contents of the CD into it. It should be about 500-600 MB. Then, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
  14. keirkei, these tools will not directly integrate into nLite. At the top of this forum is a sub-forum on Application AddOns. Please look here and see if one or more of yours is included. Also the RyanVM forum is a good source for AddOns. Both forums have information on how to create your own AddOns. Here is a thread that I wrote on creating an IE8 AddOn which is applicable to any application with the appropriate changes. Here is a thread by Kurt_Aust that shows how to add many applications and updates via the Unattended RunOnce exit. Both of the last two are for x64, but apply as well to 32 bit XP. Enjoy, John.
  15. Discovery-Darth, ricktendo64 is correct, you do need the latest nLite (1.4.9.1, DL at nLite site), but you do not need c++ redist 2005 y 2008. You do need .NET 2.0 or higher (I use 3.5). You might consider removing and reinstalling nLite. DL a new copy and be sure to check the MD5. We also need more information if you continue to fail, so please post any errors message including any in your System Log. Also, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John. Disfrute, John.

Patosan, KB971557 is dated 8-10-2009, which means it is a post SP3 update. Your Last Session shows that SP3 has not been integrated into your source. You need to include SP3 before you add any post SP3 updates. I DLed this update and the MD5 hash is 41D56F7284063AE91D8238442D71E07C. You can check this against the one you DLed and it should agree. We can check more, if you like, but try integrating SP3 and adding the update. Please let us know if we are on the right track. Enjoy, John. EDIT: I looked again and Windows Update says SP2 or SP3. Not sure what to suggest now. Do check the MD5 and let us know.

Patosan, it is good that you have had some success. Where are you getting your hot fixes? Are you sure they are Japanese language? Please attach your Last Session when you have a failure and let us know where you DLed your hot fix. Thanks, John. EDIT: My XP (32 bit) Pro booklet looks much like yours except it is in blue and does not have the sticker.

Patosan, first, I need to apologize. Kurt_Aust is correct, and I am wrong. I attach a screen shot of my XP Pro (32 bit) OEM CD. As you can see it is almost the same as yours. I think yours is a real OEM CD and probably not altered. So, we are back at the start with why you cannot get a good ISO out of it. Kurt_Aust also points out that your hot fix looks weird. Have you ever build an ISO without this hot fix, but with other changes, such as removing components and obtained a good ISO that would install in your VPC? Again, I am sorry to have mislead this hunt. Kurt_Aust, thanks much for coming to the rescue. 5eraph, the theme is called Haemo. I need to do some research and will post later at where I got it. Patosan, sorry! Kurt_Aust, thanks! Enjoy, John. EDIT: I found this link to the Haemo theme. It looks like it has been updated since I played with it. At the time, it took some work because the Logoff and Shutdown dialogs had to be hacked into shell32.dll and msgina.dll, as I recall. I had to use the Uxtheme and SFC Options of nLite, then turn SFC back on after install. I originally found the theme on this forum when a poster included a screen shot and it caught my eye. Black and red seem to go together so well and I really like red. Enjoy, John.

Patosan, still not sure what you have there. It seems to have some data base stuff and netBIOS type application for business networks. I am not sure what you are talking about with respect to the white sticker, but I have scanned the front of my latest OEM purchase. On the back is the official MS sticker with my license key - must have item. This document was inside the case with the CD and they came in a mailing envelope and nothing else. I attach the image and a screen shot of the contents. I suggest you should take the CD to the shop and look at the contents with the techs there and get them to tell you what it is. Enjoy, John.
  20. wajdizoughbi, don't know what you are asking for. More information is always better. In running nLite? In writing ISOs? Enjoy, John.

    Missing bootmgr

Mech0z, I have not tried to install from a USB stick, but I know it is much more than just copying the files to a stick and booting it. Please see this forum here for details. It includes information on using nLite with the process. Enjoy, John.

    How to skip this..

Orgyx, thanks for the Last Session. I think you need to use the 'Fully automated' for the Unattended Mode. Please click on the help (? in a circle) next to Unattended Mode. It looks like you let it default to the first one, 'Provide defaults', this will prompt you so you can change them - again, see the help. Please let us know how you make out. Enjoy, John.

Patosan, just a guess on my part about winnt.sif. Since nLite creates this file, I was concerned that you already had one, but you do not. I mistakenly thought BOOTFONT was a folder, so forget about that one. Please post a screen shot of a Windows Explorer view of the VALUEADD folder. Maybe we can determine what is in it from that. It is way too large to attach (200kB max). Have you asked the shop whether yours is a recovery CD? I suspect you have 'Hide extensions for known file types'. I suggest you go into Folder Options (Control Panel) and uncheck this item on the View tab. Sorry we are having so much trouble trying to figure out what is going on here. I am not sure what can be done if my suspicions are confirmed. It may be to return to the shop and see if you can get a real OEM CD or just install what you have. There are some options during install which allow some customizing of Widows such as leaving out components. I have not used it and think it may well be much harder to use than nLite. Enjoy, John.

    Missing bootmgr

Mech0z, sorry I do not understand what you are trying to do. If you are running nLite, making an XP ISOs under Vista or W7 may well not work. I do not know what HP USB Utility is, so can't comment. If you are using nLite, try using the CD writer in the Create Bootable ISO task and, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.

    How to skip this..

Orgyx and Sp0iLedBrAt, as far as I know, it is not possible to skip the first two screens. I choose 'Fully Automated' in the Unattended section and Setup stops only for those two screens. I also do what Sp0iLedBrAt recommends plus creating a user account. Orgyx, for future questions, please attach (not paste) your Last Session (found in your source folder after nLite runs). It makes helping much easier. Here's an idea for information on the Unattended section of nLite - or any section. Open nLite and go to the Unattended section. Select each tab and then each Help item under the tab - click the ? in a circle. Enjoy, John.
