  17. this is a really good guide.. however i'm curious about this: Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 and Service Pack 1 (KB933579) up until today i've never heard of Microsoft XML Core Services before. so i looked online and read about it.. and still no idea what it is or what it does. i then looked on my computer and its not installed there.. so i'm thinking that maybe this should be optional? also, redxii updated the dx9 addon to march 08 http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6010

  20. well there is little description, so i thought i'd add some info if anyone was curious about what this is it basically looks like an addon for these cursors http://vicing.deviantart.com/art/Blue-cursor-2-77854010 the zipped files seems to contain a blue and a grey version of them they are actually pretty nice. i've been trying them out for a day or so, and i think i like these more than the 'vista' ones that you typically see.
  21. i seem to remember people recommending to integrate the driver packs last.. not sure why that is, but i remember people saying that. also, i'm not sure where you are getting that wmp10 addon, but if its the one ryan made.. well its pretty old and isnt supported by him anymore and doesnt contain any recent hotfixes
