Have you tried "CrystalCold-Fusion(CWC AUDIO.inf) or older SB(1373) drivers ,look for in MSFN as there is a topic for these SB drivers....I use Cold-Fusion on my Desktop-Laptop/ChemPC PIII-450mhz,128mb/sdram,with a special fan/temp cooler bios program(embedded)keepin the resources from this Dos installed Audio Program low and cool.....

Just Lately this began in late June and has not happened since October last year2007!!!Actually hasnot been happening since Auto-patcher was always updated....."cause RootsCertificate is updated in it's last version and this is one of the updates dissappearing when Iexplore-IE encounters problem message!!!Lotsa spyware recently from MS and MSFN thru IE hasn't helped either ...Remove a ton of it daily whether in IE ,Firefox,or other browsers...too! I wonder if IE6-sp1 is missin' an "important Update" we do not know about?

Iexplore and IE needs to close due to an unexpected error -send report or not send report -restart InternetExplorer errors:same old ,same old errors i received in using Win3.1 and Win95,and used to get in Win98FE and Win98SE before Auto-Patcher came along........Is This a Virus or Bug or another annoying trick with IE and we all know who?...Trying to sabotage and/or to interfere with Win98SE and its new capabilities and continual usage of trans-versing (surfin')the Internet???***Note this is not fun to re-install explorer everytime this happens!!!And Rootscerticate and IE html,etc.,etc., updates from Auto-Patcher files either...especially when just reading how to files or downloading Win98SE updates !!! Why would ,say Kex0.3.4-0.3.5 run with 98SE and FF3/with FlashPlayer10,and Shockwave11 on a 256mb/Ram MoBo and not with 128mb/Ram MoBo???(Same installs exactly and PentiumIII/Slot1 CPU's@500mhz <tweaked somewhat > and ViaApollo/Shuttle Boards)

With 20gb/hdd you can use either 98SE/ME/W2K2000(also:W2K-AdvSrv)-as this what i use on this size hdd(*500mhz is enough for any of these O.S.'s) *128mb/Ram may have problems with W2K,though it should not be serious. If you have 2-20gb/hdd's ,then try 2 O.S.'s-then keep what you like to use best

I use ZONEALARM and there was a "BUG" with Microsoft Update KB951748 and internet connectivity after i applied MDCU3.0e and MDIECU2,2 .....so MSN Messenger still might or not be source of Kex's problems on my other MoBo's? *AS this IntelDesktop1998-ca810e 192Ram/467mhzCeleron runs with "Great-with Kex0.3.2a/MSM Messenger7" -with MDCU3.0e and MDIECU2.1a! I still believe any application W2K or XP (even Vista)can work with 98SE and Kex -it has to do with certain MS uodates and especially enough MemoryRam? As my 64mb/Ram MoBo;and 128mb/Ram MoBo do not like Kex above 0.3.2aversion; and my 192mb/Ram MoBo;and 256mb/Ram MoBo do like Kex 0.3.2a and 0.3.4

Win98SE "Preferred O.S."= A ...Lean and Mean Revitalized-Updated-Superior 98SE O.S. Machine. .......1.5gb full install with all updates ,mail,messenger,t.v.,cd-player/re-corder,camera,photo-shop,no bloatware ,simple ,everyday use ,...trade-off on 3 different MoBo's on a rotation user/testing basis.... 1 major crash and 2 re-installs due to testing new updates in 3 month's time....not bad for a 10 year old O.S. system on 10 year old MoBo's..huh? <*It reads to me when i sleep,too-yet will not do dishes though? > Who needs a new 1,000,000,000mb/hdd-with "Warpspeed/ghz; if they could just put it in a "nutshell" and carry their Operating System in their pocket on a 4gb/usb-flashdrive when they travel as i do:)

Why not use a small "Flash-drive usb stick"it's bootable with UBCD411/WinME(98SE as i prefer) and allows for more accurate setting and its own Harddrive/System enviroment for real testing <portable too >*cheap prices $. *Virtual machines have too many in-consistent drawbacks to real mode testing-

MSN 7 and up with Kex0.3.3-0.3.4 collapses daily (buggy!)I even can not use free MSN Services from My I.P.Carrier! Too much dazzle or incompatability with newer Kex's;***I use Kex 0.3.2a with only MSN7 and up is limited useage@2hours uptime.*WILL try Kex0.3.5 later in week .with a scheduled Re-install on a new and older MoBo soon. *Special Note:Some of my W2K Applications slip into my 98SE systems by accident and "oddly" enough they run "Great"on 98SE with any Kex version (usually0.3.2aKex)installed and usually these just will not run and close abruptly(***"with an improper system notification") ......though lately i integrated some of these to become TSR programs in my 98SE system-and they're still running "Great"...hmmmmmm*Noteworthy to investigate which other appl's may work with 98SE too! *To:Marxo-Is Your MSN Messenger7 from MSN Member Center or Microsoft ?*Mine is MSN MemberCenter and this could be problem-as Skype2.5.14.140 U3-edition is "Too buggy/nosey" works with my Kex ,not MSN7 though?

XXCOPY.zip is wonder-ful at CDROM-disc to Hdd recovery of a bad disc and its "BOOTABLE"-just like an "OEM"when you re-burn disc:Use from dos mode/or safe mode ,never tried while windows was running...***xxcopy always copies even most all damaged areas of disc unless disc is "cracked or written" on label surface incorrectly?*XXCOPY works with 3.1,95,98,98se,2000,xp,and supposededly vista?It's better than most clone/copy programs! Freeware Too!
