Did you try to find any switches yourself? I wonder because the following one can be simply found in the Unattended Guide. Click.

How-to: Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 Additions and VMware Tools
Arie replied to Arie's topic in Application Installs
I found my method posted earlier to be the only way to get the installation done without any errors. I tried an administrative installation as well, but it produced an error on my end as well, hence I switched back to the before mentioned method. It works, so I'm happy with it Something which I should have mentioned; my bad, sorry Found out myself as well when working on the before mentioned installation method. The reason for this is that normally the installation starts from a virtual CD-ROM. After the installation is done, the system needs to be rebooted and the virtual CD-ROM is automatically unmounted, virtually ejected, as there is no need for it anymore. I have only tested this with an unattended installation from an ISO-file; the Virtual Machine Additions get installed, but once the machine reboots, the ISO-file is unmounted and therefore RunOnceEx cannot find it. When installing from a physical CD-ROM, this problem might not occur, but thus far I haven't tested this; it's on my to-do list. Did you test this yourself with a physical CD-ROM or only with an ISO-file? -
Help me understand UA silent installs please
Arie replied to kmaheshkumar's topic in Application Installs
Read through the Unattended Guide and most should become clear. You can find texts regarding RunOnce there, CMDLINES.TXT, WINNT.SIF, application installations, et cetera. As for DriverPacks.net, download all the packs which you would like to integrate and run the DriverPacks Base package which will guide you through the integration. I advice you to integrate drivers as a last step in creating an unattended installation disc. -
I have no idea where you read that, but it's complete nonsense. I would suggest that you start by simply reading all the pages on the HFSLIP web site. If you follow it to the letter, you should end up with a fully up-to-date installation source, including if you want DirectX 9.0c (November), Internet Explorer 7, Windows Media Player 11, et cetera.

Please note that using nLite for something else than personal use, you are breaking the EULA and you will not receive any help from other users of this forum.

how i can copie files in install of windows on statup
Arie replied to assault76's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
For tutorials on batch scripting see the Unattended Guide for a short exaple, or use Google for plenty of batch resources. As for copying My Music from your installation media to your hard disk during unattended installation, you can best use OEM distribution folders; $OEM$\$Docs\My Music. See the Unattended Guide for that for example. Please note that copying over hundreds of MP3-files during installation makes your installation very slow. It would be better to store your music on a separate partition or hard disk, so that you don't have to include it in your installation process. -
As bfc_xxx already wrote, you can simply first run HFSLIP and afterwards run DriverPacks Base on your SOURCESS folder. If you only want to add SATA drivers for instance, you can add those via HFEXPERT\STORAGE. Other drivers can be added via HFEXPERT\DRIVERCAB. You can read more about those options on this forum by doing a search on storage for instance. I believe that you can choose to do both options mentioned above, but you could of course also choose to do only one of these two options.

MASTER TUTORIAL: Make Your Windows Super Fast
Arie replied to Vishal Gupta's topic in Windows Tips 'n' Tweaks
Do not disable services via MSCONFIG, always use SERVICES.MSC. By disabling service via MSCONFIG, you can render your machine useless. You cannot do this via SERVICES.MSC, so this is much safer. You claim that your tips make Windows "super fast", but not all changes which you apply have that result; best is to disable all visual enhancements for instance. -
Can you remove it later from what...? From Windows? Yes, via Add/Remove Programs. From your nLited CD? Not quite, you would have to rebuild it, but if you keep your unbuild source somewhere, that shouldn't be a problem. But if you want to rebuild your CD often, I prefer HFSLIP for that.

The downloaded hotfixes are actually installer packages. The date on the package itself doesn't matter, it's what's inside the packages that matter. The dates and times of the files inside the hotfixes packages will be fine, the version numbers of the files inside the packages are fine as well, so your complete build will be fine too. Nothing to worry about. But I assume that you'll still test it in a virtual environment and find out yourself as well

Brothersoft, your reply has nothing to do with what the topic starter posted...

You're both wrong: the file is named SVCPACK.INF

how i can copie files in install of windows on statup
Arie replied to assault76's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
I'm very sorry, but I don't understand your question. What exactly are you trying to do, what have you tried yourself thus far, et cetera? I'm afraid that we'll need more information in order to help you. Bon chance! -
I've never heard of a %PA_DRV% variable in Windows XP...?! What are you trying to achieve?
-
FYI, the screenshot which you posted looks like the battery information which you can install on Lenovo laptops (formerly IBM).
-
I have never heard of any software by PayPal, but why not If this software is the cause of your problem, contact PayPal for support.
-
Start by reading this and this. Try not to remove too much at once, but take it step by step so that you can isolate problems which might occur. If you still experience probles afterwards, please post what exactly you configured in nLite, which hotfixes you add, et cetera.
-
I use HFSLIP myself, so I can't help you that much I'm afraid, but to give it a try... I assume that you don't install WMP11 via SVCPACK for example? As for Microsoft .NET Framework, I would suggest that you download RogueSpear's silent installers. You can add both version 1 and 2 via SVCPACK and add version 3 during RunOnceEx. Can't be of more service I'm afraid.

Just a small advice of which I don't know if it will help you, but I advice you to change it anyway Change your HFSLIP path from D:\Downloads\Altro\Immagini cd-dvd\XP A&O 04-11-2007\ to D:\HFSLIP, so that directory names can't be too long and so that special characters such as & are not in the foldernames.
-
Have you tried re-copying your source files and trying again? Are you sure that you integrate the right hotfixes and that there are no wrong or obsolete ones? See Tomcat76's hotfix lists for instance via the HFSLIP section of this forum.

eset smart security or symantec endpoint protection v11
Arie replied to shahed26's topic in Malware Prevention and Security
Symantec in my humble opinion, but I would advice you to install each on a test system and compare the foot print.
