  1. i want to know too. i did integrate all the drivers using vlite v1.6 final from this post, some of them are not WHQL Certified even the x64 as well, because during installation it prompts, and says "NOT DIGITALLY SIGNED BY MS" install anyway... but its always good to have driverpacks, wish they were all WHQL certified. btw the drivers are mix of all, audio, vga, lan, etc....
  2. bro just google around for tutorials, then you will have a clue on what language you want to learn. it all depends on which language you want to learn and which will benefit you, coz theres quite few out there and its not easy to learn all or remember all.
  3. vlite always worked well with server, it just depends on what you use on server on more importantly what components you remove. (removing an important component could BREAK your server installation) using server 2008 x64 vlited as workstation, and its so stable and extremely responsive and fast compare to vista, even xp.
  4. yep, thats fine. it works on server 2003 as well.
  5. ok guys, please leave feedback of this bda function solution, and please report any issues, so i can improve bda support on server. any suggestion on how to improve or anything are most welcome thanks
  6. thanks for letting me know. enjoy watching tv on server
  7. what?? my server 2008 wouldnt even install eset nod32 business edition, it says that this product is not intended for server 2008.. how did you install it? btw, i tried installing the eset smart security edition, not AV
  8. Nothings helps to me, trying this steps or full guide again and with no success. When i ran register.cmd i have these errors: and I forgot to mention that i have 64 bit windows server 2008. I use source files from 64 bit Vista, this is ok. I dont know what to do now... thats were it went all wrong. i updated my guide, read it properly again. the errors wont be there anymore. you need to extract ALL THE FILES from bdaxp.cab and run bda.inf from there. read my guide again coz its updated and you wont get no errors. btw it should work on x64 as well. (did not try it on x64 yet)
  9. Make sure you have the latest "DIRECTX" installed. also a decent codec pack run this file from DXSETUP.exe from the latest DX9 Redist download if it still does not work then do this: run the file bda.inf from "BDAXP.cab" (from latest direcx download)again, and restart (right click on bda.inf and then choose install). if its promting you to install pnp devices that it finds, then just click cancel for all of them if it still does not work, then run bda.inf again, and this time when it finds the pnp devices, just locate and install. when its prompting pnp install make sure you browse to the files extracted from "bdaxp.cab" Also the guide is sort of confusing, double check everything, and repeat all actions from my guide again if its still not working.
  10. ok, this is the same problem i had as well. Just run the file bda.inf from "BDAXP.cab" (from latest direcx download)again, and restart (right click on bda.inf and then choose install). if its promting you to install pnp devices that it finds, then just click cancel for all of them if it still does not work, then run bda.inf again, and this time when it finds the pnp devices, just locate and install. when its prompting pnp install make sure you browse to the files extracted from "bdaxp.cab" Also the guide is sort of confusing, double check everything, and repeat all actions from my guide again if its still not working.
  11. EDIT: GUIDE UPDATED NOW EVERY 3RD PARTY TV APPLICATIONS WORKING
  12. The "bdasup.sys" file is already on server 2008 located on C:\Windows\System32\drivers. The "BDAXP.CAB" Has the old version of it which will cause problems (maybe). my advice is replace the old bdasup.sys FILE you copied from "BDAXP.CAB" with the original server one
