  3. Try Electronics Boutique or Suncoast (or whatever it's called now).
  4. Internet Explorer Cumulative Update MS04-040 (KB889669) "Microsoft has issued a patch, out of its normal security patch cycle, for a critical bug in Internet Explorer versions from 6.0 up to but not including Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). According to the advisory issued by Microsoft, the bug could allow remote code execution on an affected system. The vulnerability is a buffer overflow in the handling of IFRAME and EMBED tags. By providing oversized source fields for those tags, an attacker could potentially execute arbitrary code on the user's system. The vulnerability's severity is underscored by the fact that this is only the second time that Microsoft has issued an out-of-cycle security patch since it instituted its monthly patch cycles in November 2003. 6. I can see it now. After TiXer and Bi0 are married, they will go to The Gap. It will proceed as follows...
  7. Just for Doggie... (You reminded me, Bi0!) I still say a Gold Msfn membership for an X-Mas gift would ROCK. Doggie and his new b**ch.. *Snicker* I'm done now.
  8. Looks like someone I know frm a chatroom... o.o SCARY! *Proceeds to mock*
  9. Non smoker. Never have, never will. When dating my first girlfriend, a few weeks after we started dating she started to smoke (again she said) and well.. It's not pleasant to kiss someone who smokes. Frankly, it's disgusting. About the same as frenching/making out with an ashtray. I don't hate smokers, I voted no in this poll. It's the habit that's the problem. Kick the habit and save a ton of money.

  11. You can remove those. Just go to... C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins\ I deleted everything except... google.gif google.src dictionary.png dictionary.src So, now I just have those two buttons in my search.
  12. Doggie wants a b**ch!? Dear LORD man, someone call for help and backup!
  13. Button tags found here. IE has security holes. The browser test simply tests one form of SSL encryption which is used on some sites. Firefox has better protection, you would be wise to switch. Btw, Firefox understands the website of mine perfectly.
  14. It's legit. A lot of good timing and skill. One thing I did notice. Did you catch where it sped up near the beginning for just about 1-2 seconds? It's possible this was a ROM.
  15. Haha, you haven't seen my site then have you? Windows Update is the last step. ;D Sidenote: Currently resolving issue with buttons not working in IE6. :\
  16. HijackThis also creates a folder called "backup" with an unrecognized file from when you made the edits. Simply open with notepad to see the entry you removed, along with the registry key that was deleted. This will help in resolving issues most of the time.
  17. Visit my site Tech support for a clean, efficient system version 2 and follow the instructions. That should help remove any potential malware in your PC.
  18. Source: AIMutation Well it appears as if 1.3.2 is here already... I'm not sure exactly how I did it... but I managed to make the buddy list draw correctly... I haven't adding anymore skinning... but a number of new bugs have been fixed... here is the changelog... -Fixed issue with logs not opening in tabs and on buddy list -Fixed IM toolbar in Chat Windows -Fixed IM toolbar in IM windows with the Add buddy and Get info buttons sometimes not drawing properly -Fixed the setting for disabling popups when away, this feature is not available in the latest versions of AIM, however we will be looking for a solution to this. -Fixed an issue with tooltips not drawing properly -Fixed a bug causing the skins to be drawn transparent -Fixed the tab bug that seemed to still affect a number of people -Fixed DLL issues with the installer(I Hope) -Added skinning for the live video button -Added an option in the General aiMutation settings to "Account for Linked Buddy Lists" which *SHOULD* fix the issue with the buddy list buttons not drawing right -Improved the performance overall of the application with a few compiler tweaks I think that sums it up... hopefully the installer actually does work as im hoping it will... For information on skinning the new buttons goto this thread http://www.aiMutation.com/viewtopic.php?t=4397&highlight= To download 1.3.2 goto this page http://www.aiMutation.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=341 aiMutation 1.3.3? - Well just so everyone knows... the next version of aiMutation will not be 1.3.3... it will be 1.4.0. This release will again mainly be bugs, but there are going to be so many things fixed in this version that it will be worthy of a full point release. Expect in this version full compatibility with AIM 5.9! There may be a few other goodies in there as well!
  19. my laptop was running flawlessly before applying the SP, so i dont see how the current running programs can be effecting it? ive used firefox before; google toolbar is installed to block popups. i can usually tell when spyware is being downloaded to my computers anyhow. I would prefer to trust a Microsoft product with secure connections when doing my online banking than a release candidate/preview edition of mozilla firefox. although it is a good browser, and many geeks are turning to it, im still sceptical of using it. im aware of IE having hundreds of security holes, as others should be that microsoft and its employees are smart and are most likely aware of them. if they were of a high security risk to the 80% of internet users running IE then they would bring out a critical update. Firefox is an offical release now and it is much more secure than IE. There is a link on my website to test if your browser supports encryption and such. Taskmonitor - The Task Monitor checks the disk-access patterns of programs when they are started and stores this information in log files in the Applog folder. Task Monitor also records the number of times you use a program. The Disk Defragmenter tool uses this information to optimize your hard disk so that programs that you use frequently are loaded faster. Not required. ScheudlingAgent - MS Scheduling Agent displayed as a box with a stopwatch in the System Tray that is only needed if you have regular scheduled disk defragmenting, ScanDisk, etc. Required if you have regularily scheduled events such as weekly virus scans. Personally I run these manually and find SchedulingAgent to be useless. As for WinAlign, does it startup with the PC itself? The only instance I found of it is that of a Dynamic Link Library (DLL)
  20. Just thought of something that would totally own as an X-Mas gift... Msfn Gold Membership!
  21. Will you marry me? I hear wedding bells! It's an Msfn wedding! *rofl*
  22. You know. Since xper is asking, does that mean he's buying?
  23. I've used and liked AIMutation for a while now. However with as buggy as 1.3.1a is I decided to use AIM Ad-Hack for AIM 5.5.3598 (found at www.etplanet.com) in order to remove ads and a few other features.
  24. Wonder if that would be how you can stop the sigs here in the forums from displaying your IP? Or would that be something else?
  25. Ah, then that would be why. I disabled and removed System Restore.
