  1. Hmm.. not sure then. Did you slipstream it by hand? You could try using nlite instead. If you haven't tried it, it's something you really should see. www.nliteos.com
  2. I'm planning on getting the quad for photo work, mainly batch converting raw to png.
  3. You didn't slipstream your service pack properly. You need to include WIN51, WIN51IP and WIN51IP.SP2 on the root of your cd.
  4. I use mozypro as a backup solution for a small law firm I consult for. It's been working well for them.
  5. This website looks like it was made in 1993 but it's very helpful. http://www.learntosubnet.com/
  6. What they actually mean by that is:
  7. The age of the pda is basically over; smartphones have replaced them. That said, I have a dell axim x50v that does all the things you're talking about very well. I even have a compact flash gps for it. The gps capabilities are kind of so-so but hey, it at least tells me where I am. Windows CE is basically any windows mobile version from 1-3, after that I think they called it mobile 2003, then mobile 5 and soon mobile 6. My x50v runs 2003 and can run 5 but 5, well, sucks so I stick with 2003.
  8. Rather that than waste a lot more money on a x-fi

  10. It looks like the "pro" version is the same as it ever was, only completely without aids. The free version now infects you with aids which you cannot unselect. Looks like there is version anymore other than pro or commercial. http://www.disc-soft.com/products
  11. Ah, that explains it. I did end up finding a solution, one I didn't think would work but I gave it a try anyway. I used symantec auto-install to create a before and after snapshot of the install then created a switchless exe from that. although those usually don't work as part of the install I have had great success in using them in the runonce. gah, now that I think about it, I could have skipped that step and put the nerolite installer in my runonce folder and used the switch with the batch file. Oh well, seems to work either way! Thanks!
  12. Sorry if this might be off topic but I'm getting the following error when attempting to create a nero7 lite addon. Using nerolite, a switch that works when run from the command like, and the nlite addon maker I receive the following error when run as part of windows setup or when extracting the .exe from the .cab and attempting to run it as is. This is the switch: /SILENT /NOREBOOT /USER="username" /COMPANY="companyname" /SERIAL=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx /WRITE_SN Sorry if this is a noob error. This is my first attempt at creating an addon.
  13. I install this on almost every machine I build. It's great for seeing which machines occupy which ips and what user is logged into them. Sort of like angry ip scanner but with a few more features. http://www.lookatlan.com/ Direct Download: http://www.lookatlan.com/download/LALSetup.exe Thanks!
  14. Thanks! Is there a way for me to add my serial number to this?
  15. Sorry to bump an old tread but I'd like to know as well. I searched google which lead me here.
  16. Gah, thanks for trying anyway. I don't 'need' it, it's more of just a backup if hamachi fails so I guess I'll wait until I have to reinstall again.
  17. I apparently nlite'd out something needed for rras which I need to to set up an incoming vpn connection. Is there a way to reinstall rras without doing a fresh xp install?
  18. Vista seems to be really good about unlike hardware. I created a vista machine in vmware and ghosted it to a real pc just to test it. After taking an extra two or three minutes to automagically install drivers during the first boot it ran normally after that.
  19. I came to see if anyone else was having problems and apparently so. I couldn't integrate it manually or with nlite. However after trying a few different cds I got nlite to work.
