    Quick Question

lol, thats why its best to keep netlogon, nuhi said he was going to remove netlogon from nlite on the next version as it caused so many problems
  3. On the unatteneded page, make sure OEM preinstalled is enabled. I think it would be best to integrate all the drivers including hard drives (if you get a message during driver integration for pnp or textmode then select textmode) but we do not know what drivers are available for us to say which one it it. if you would tell me the manufacturers website then ill have alook on their
  4. no update pack for Post-SP2 x64 you have to download the hotfixes one by one and then integrate them
  5. Firstly i went to erase my DVD and the prograss bar got to 100% and then started going backwards! then when it got back to 0% it started going up again[been told thats normal now], then i tried to burn ("Direct Burn" Method) onto the dvd (at 1x) and it kept failing. So then i put in a fresh dvd (none RW) and that didnt work (at 4x) either. I had to install nero 7 and burn the image and that worked, now my RW disk doesn't work (wont let me write to it or erase it lol)

    Quick Question

when i wanted to install office it didnt give me the options to customize and just installed i couldnt install .NET Framework because it would just not move when i got to a certain part
  7. just dont do the rebuild method, then when you open vlite again you can select a different version i.e. Business and edit that. So basically all the versions on your disk have been vlited and changed the way you want without losing the other vista versions At the end do not rebuild and just apply!! (Please note your dvd will not shrink in size, that is normal for apply method)
  8. on the thing above i written that was above was if you clicked apply it applied it to all the of versions on the disk rather than just the 1, is that the same thing you wanting to do. so what i written above does matter really. i was going upon what name265 was saying. You will have to remove the other versions (rebuild method on ultimate) and then mount the install.wim copy the ultimate version so there is more than one copy and just add the newer ones you copied to the xml (so you can select it) complicated and not making a guide on it lol then you can edit each version, so you will have like 5 (or whatever) Vista Ultimate Editions all different in their own way. So have a Ultimate Edition for each computer depending on what they need?
  9. ok re-copy all the files to be sure, then move the folder to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository and if you go to add new hardware it should have printers in the list or just try automatic
  10. ermmmm...... WOAH! :D a. 1,500 HD movies at a time, the human mind wouldnt be able to take that in n prob have a fit! b. about cache, a current computer harddrive can do upto 300MB/s (SATA2 n everyday computer) not like 15GB to 50GB+ in 2 seconds!!!! c. the slowest my internet connection has been is 25Kbps which is 1,677,721.6 (yes, millions!!!!) times slower than this swedish person lmao!!
  11. I agree, the only way you can get it back is if you use a fresh vista source, vLite it but keep Speech Recognition, Natural Language & Games
  12. easiest thing you can do about the updates is download an update pack, which you can download from here. Scroll down to the "Downloads" area near the bottom and download "Post-SP2 Update Pack" (this is for 32bit computers, dont use it on x64!!). It basically has lots of updates up-to a certain date. It's added as a hotifx on nLite and basically you do not have to download the same updates everytime you reinstall windows. There are already addons for CCleaner and Firefox Here. Just add it the same way as the update pack via Hotfixes Guides ------------------- nLite Official Guide. Use the links at the top Part 1, 2 ,etc... NeoSeeker Guide

  19. nah the code is fine already and it does it with epson too, im jsut checking too see if i have to copy another folder to the desktop. which means i gotta extract the whole install.wim and search for your missing files
  20. lol that true, there was a topic with someone trying to get there drivers back so decided to make a guide, took some time but it works and its not just for printer drivers
  21. if you look further down... you should see "MS_CNB_0225.GBD" below in the inf (use search) and that has a list of all the files needed for it
  22. my drivers are different from HDA drivers, i currently got the latest driver for my onboard soundcard (and theres like 28+ different .INF files in its directory and bring up a message for each one of them lol
