Care to explain? What are the key differences in different kinds of support? And um... Don't remind me of ME. I only saw it once with my own eyes and... yuck! Reminded me of a joke I dig up from deeps of my documents. Here goes: "DO NOT EVER USE ME AS OPERATING SYSTEM. I have repaired many computers and worked on all sorts of models and whatnot. Oh, speaking of .NET: I understand that each version is something totally different from other ones? 2.0 doesn't have 1.0 in it and so on. Is there any official package that would contain 1.1 and 2.0 in it? I hate installing four **** things SO much (the actual package and SP /why MS didn't create a version with SP already included is beyond me/).

I can understand the BIOS is major problem. I just HATE it when I enter it only to see the **** manufacturer turned it into useless crap with about five options at most. What's the logic behind this? This especially applies to laptops. But some desktops as well; Dell, namely (though Dell still has some basic options left).

Vista will be supported until 2012. LOL wtf, it's not even working properly two years after release and only a minority uses, why the heck would they release new OS? I assume it won't be compatible with anything we got today.

I guess I will open nLite with my current settings in VirtualPC on 2nd monitor and create new one based on what I see there. lol. (unless someone tells me how /if/ do I run another instance of nLite on same PC..

What type of panel is best though? MVA, (S-)PVA, or IPS? That's not really explained anywhere (though it also must come down to personal preferences I assume). My Samsung for example is SPVA.

Thing is, CRTs are not sold anymore Or some stores still offer some leftovers... But I strongly believe they are not manufactured anymore. Nice post btw, crahak. I never really managed to understand the whole LCD thing; was (and still is!) majorly lost in the types of the screens and so on. Are you telling me that retail CDs with some kind of SP in them are not made the same way as integrating the way we regular lusers know/use? Ie the files you talk about are patched (to some point)? So if we have SP1 retail CD at work, I can as well use that with same results?

Hm, yeah, if only there was a way to get source with no SP at all nowadays I use corporate version from our company and the only source we got is SP1. Edit: I assume it's not possible to grab english version and somehow turn it into another language? I'd give this a shot just for the hell of it, but there sure as hell is no SP0 czech corporate version cd floating around. Note: I have legal cdkey.

Also, are you talking about SP2 source, or is it SP1 or no SP at all? Does this matter? I would try this if I still had my old cd...

Hm, I've been using this one preset for quite some time, just adding to it over time. Perhaps I should redo it "just in case", even though everything seems to be perfectly well (how would you tell though...)?..

Could you explain the process a bit more? I am lost. You do this with the source data (non SP3) before you slipstream SP3 into it? What are you copying where? On a side not, what does RTM mean?

Ok it's live now I upgraded and already hate it. The appearence totally changed! Even with the skin I was using, tabs look different, there are new and uglier icons everywhere... NOT good

Hm, now that I think about it... Am I supposed to redo all presets from scratch everytime new version is released? Even one would suck more than a pornstar, but damnit, I use three different ones!!!
