  1. I finally solved it by "borrowing" a HDD from one PC at work. The joy of working as IT support
  2. It still must depend on individual configurations, because redirection works here like a charm...
  3. And again. It used to work with domain being added to exceptions and msfn@msfn.org as well on top of that. Not anymore. Btw. Do you use sneakemail or not? The headers are confusing.
  4. That's good idea. BUT wouldn't that screw the data on it somehow? I mean that's DOS mode afaik... If I was to do stuff like that, I'd rather do it from Windows.
  5. Is there anything I don't have to install? I have Partition Magic cd here, but don't want to mess my clean install with crapload of other stuff. Is there any utility that would be able to shrink current partition and let me create new, small one?
  6. This is interesting. I thought running the drive in native mode would benefit at least a LITTLE bit...
  7. I JUST discovered this. Holy sh.... I've been using Nero 6 for ages because it's such a crap nowadays... I am forced to order and install version 8 for some people in the company I work at. Imagine the hell, waiting for up to 30 mins to install the bastard. Thanks a bunch and keep up the good work. This made my day!
  8. Simple advice: stop browsing porn. Or get anti-something/anything software.
  9. Don't press F1 when you removed the whole thing OR Don't remove Help Center. I really fail to understand the logic behind this...
  10. Hm, basically the only possibilities is to add domain or a specific adress to the exceptions list. Btw. Later I added the adress as well and it finally started to work. What I don't understand is why it's not working when "just" the domain is in the list. Could it have anything to do with the format in which the headers of notification mails are written?
  11. Yup. When you post a bit, the subscriptions page becomes enormous mess and you have to scroll up and down and look all through the page to find topics with new posts... that's half-useless
  12. Is there an option to sort subscriptions in my controls somehow? I couldn't figure it out - perhaps it's not even possible. As it is now they are sorted based on the sections they come from, which is one hell of a mess. Any way to have those with most recent replies on top of the list?
  13. So I created this nLited installation for a friend of mine and forgot to set it to log administrator in automatically. Now after each boot she has to click on the stupid login screen. How do I change that manually, please?
  14. why not... (won't be of much use I'm afraid though)
  15. Right. Using outlook, but spam protection is enabled on the server, which I intend to keep on. Perhaps adding whole domain in exceptions list doesn't work because the headers of the notifications display the adress in some weird format like "MSFN Forums msfn-at-msfn.org"?
  16. Adding msfn.org in exceptions didn't work. Any ideas?
  17. I recently tried Vista again and thought to check vLite too. I was surprised how there are virtually no tweaks at all (I mean all the minor but extremely handy stuff, well I guess you get the idea) - at least compared to nLite. Is it because noone figured that stuff out yet or it's simply impossible?
  18. Impossible to tell. Loads of stuff, minor in terms of functionality though. It's mostly that kind of things nLite offers under Tweaks section. Maybe vLite will have it some time in future, too. Until then I will just keep watching for news.
  19. I wanted to try something different and also check whether it'd work this time or not. Plus was curious how the performance would be after letting vLite rape all the rubbish in default installation... I wouldn't care about the looks THAT much if only the menus weren't completely different and all the small but very useful things gone...
