I tried pointing to the .msi file but the installation start and cancels almost asap... and I know that the path does not need to be included when its in the same directory but things are just messed up right now and so on... anyways thanks for your guys' input. Ill see if I can work things out...

I am new to writing batch files and everything to do with integrating silent installs... I tired WPI but i didnt like to too much so i started attempting batch files to try and assist with creating an unattended installation. The following is what I have been using: ECHO. ECHO Installing Microsoft Office11 Professional ECHO (Please wait until setup.exe has finished running before continuing) start /wait "Microsoft Office 2003" "%PROGRAMFILES%\Source Installation Files\Office11\SETUP.EXE" TRANSFORMS="%PROGRAMFILES%\Source Installation Files\Office11\Office11.MST" The is says it cannot find pro11.msi...can someone please tell me what im doing wrong?

srry for the double post! i just want to make sure im doing this right...Should those files be there? kuz they aint, and i didnt remove them...The tutorial says for ME to remove them but i canot locate them... Someone please come to my aid and be my knight in shining armor...

ok ty...im new to forums overall... took me quite awhile just to register an account here...lol...Ty much for you help! EDIT: ok i was able to do the same thing by extracting these files from the .ima files from a boot floppy creater for windows xp... (ithe final product was the same) but in the tutorial it says i need to remove 3 files but i cannot find those files...and i doing something wrong? Says i need to remove: BOOTSECT.DAT migrate.inf winnt.sif but they are no where to be found in the boot folder...help?

I have been having a problem with a step in the Multi-Boot DVD.pdf (flyakite) which is a tutorial for Multi-Boot DVD for windows os version... I am having trouble with creating the boot folder...the guide says to go to Start -> Run and enter: D:\AIO-DVD\SETUP\XP\Professional\i386\winnt32.exe /noreboot and that opens an installation process...It asks me to enter my CD key (it the one that came with my system) and it says its invalid... I was hoping someone here could please tell me another way to obtain the files required for the boot folder require for this guide... Thank you much in advance (ima noob here, if i made an error please dont hate lol)
