Theres not a actually dos version of boot magic, but when you install boot magic it makes boot up disk that when used they will put you in dos mode. -XPerties

well here the sitution a friend came across. Just like you he had all his kids and a pc of his own.He was able to install office 2 times, then the third time he had to call to get it activated. Now all he did was wait a day or 2 and when he called to activate it on his 3rd pc he told them he had a hard drive crash and had to format. They activated for him. So thats your only option if you would like to install on all PC in your house. -XPerties

I just bought the Santa Cruz and being use to Creative sound blaster products....well I was amazed! This baby rocks. You might consider calling them up and ask about a discount for the santa cruz. I know you can get it for about 80 bucks now. And they have great XP drivers for it. -XPerties

Thats really odd, I thought they had the best support. Thats one of the reason I switch from creative. Ok how about the basic drivers supplied when you first installed XP.(XP drivers) Did they do anything or work at all? -XPerties

Hey I found out why I was getting the messy lines and crap. I had transparent control on my messenger and taskbar.....once I turn that off no promblems. I was using messenger plus and Heliobar 1.0. All better. -XPerties

If you look at the bottom of the screen at the taskbar youll see what Im talking about. The line running through the entire task bar. sometimes when i close a window parts of it will still remain on desktop or I get wierd crap like this. Im hopeing this has to do with XP and the drivers. Ive tried different ones but always get the same thing. My card is only 8 months old. Its a elsa geforce ultra 64. -Xperties
