[b:11a3c56851]drewdatrip[/b:11a3c56851] - you should never have your Vid card sharing a IRQ, So he probaly wanted to make sure XP was going to do this, By assigning the IRQ it prevents this. Of course you should only assign if your IRQ's are messed up, never do it from the begaining. -XPerties

Yes whats offered is the update drivers. And if you want the software you will have to order it or wait till it comes out late November. Ok follow me here.....Im at my PC , And I leave to go to the store. I get back and walk up to my PC. The screensaver is running. I move the mouse and the screensaver stops but now Im back at my login screen. I have to enter a password to gain access back into my OS. Is this what you want? Just set a password for the user and pick a screensaver. That alL I did. -XPerties

well its obvisoly a IRQ promblem. I would suggest moving all your cards around till you cant get a good setting. When I first installed XP I had to do the same. I have a video card, tv tuner card, ata controller, sound, and usb. -XPerties

You shouldnt assing one for your card. It will probaby take IRQ 11 (thats the main universal IRQ). You should just let windows sort them out. I wouldnt assing anything. -Xperties

I think theres a little confusion on NTSF vs FAT32. You can still keep your files protected while in fat32. Just set the security by right click on selected folder. Also if your using more than one user on pc you can select what they see by editing the start menu by exploring my computer and selecting documents and settings/all users. Now if your dual booting like myself I have 98,2000,and XP. XP is NTSF na dthe rest fat32. They can not see or access any of my drives or files. You will not lose any preformance by converting. -XPerties
