  1. English isn't my native idiom. Try to use percentage width:xx% and so on ; position:relative is useful most times...
  2. Yes! This was the problem. Like something stupid I thought it was a "simple file integration" without relative dependence with machine type. Thank you all! Especially Innocent Devil!
  3. Hi! I would like to know if there´s a way to integrate SP2 x64, Windows 2k3, using nLite, I got slipstreaming errors when I tried. Thank you in advance!
  4. Diskeeper, doesn't matter the version. I use it since NT 4, works perfectly, you have several options, including pagefile.sys optmization, Master File Table defrag, you can put all folders together, etc.
  5. right click the folder and select "copy"; do the same on the the desktop, on a clear area, and select "paste". Thats it!
  6. If router is installed, ipconfi /all is enough, cause the ISP's DHCP will give the adresses and they'll be displayed by ipconfig.
  7. English isn't my native idiom, I'll try my best. Initially It's necessary to understand why IBM developed UNIX to understand Linux. Unix was developed for companies that couldn't pay the costs of a mainframe, but with the same use structure: programmers, technicians, operators, etc. The difference between Linux and Unix is just the platform, PC, but the structure is the same, it requests programmers, operators, etc., It's not for end users. They are trying to change this, but it still takes time. One swim be done to change that, it can happen in a reverse way as it happened with OS/2, there were not programs developed. Linux has a lot of programs with the same purpose, but without any standard and support. Windows was especially developed for end users. With the NT development It's became also corporate. MS has more than 20 years of experience, it is an open and easy platform for developers, at the begining created more problems than solutions. Besides the fragility of the system, programs badly done and system 16 bits almost killed It. With Windows 2000 those problems were almost resolved and stiller with XP. It is an easy system that it doesn't request the users' a lot of knowledge, intuitive, and this is also a problem, because computer is a tool, it is necessary training, learning. Summarizing, they cannot be compared because historically the purposes are different and MS is M$ because always got to notice the users' expectations. Like or no, it was always besides these expectations, and mainly a fantastic capacity of recovering of the own mistakes.
  8. I got the file but didn't work. I have another machine that i use for tests. I'll install the 2K3 and after all, including Service Pack, I'll try the neowin patch. Thank you for your attention.
  9. Lemonzest I'll appreciate, but we're running different versions and I'd like to know what really happened. Thank you for your attention.
  10. Hi! English isn't my native idiom. I had neowin installed on W2K3 and I was using a Vista msstyle with no problems, then I applied the Service Pack 2 RC and the patch, apparently, was removed. I restart all neowin patch process but still not workin. Someone had the same problem?
  11. English isn't my native idiom. I have about 14.000 songs. Most of all are stored in CDs; the song structure I used is: artist - (rel date - Album title) -=- #trk - track itle On HD: Classics - Jazz - Mpb (Brazilan Pop Music) PopRock Inside the folders the structure is organized by Artist Name, and the songs are automatically ordered by the song structure.
  12. English isn't my native idiom. How did you create these partitions? I mean what you used for
  13. Work fine with IE 7. The connection is very slow, but it's getting better. It's started 2 hours ago, with 8.7Kb/sec, now it's 24.0Kb/sec.
  14. English isn't my native idiom. I think the best use for SATA disks is storage, mainly by the large cache capacity they have. For day-by-day purposes, OS disk, I think IDE it´s the cheapest and reliable option. Two friends of mine got problems with SATA disks, but I had a lot with IDE, of course, on a long period of time.
  15. English isn't my native idiom. Hi! Try the telephone! When you activate windows this option is showed (try it again with your OEM version). Just click it, and inform what country you are, then a list with phone numbers appears. Keep the information from your Certificate on hands, you'll be asked for it. I think it works! Good luck!
  16. English isn't my native idiom. Believe me! I think there's a problem with data between chipset and processor. Vista use resources beyond XP, so some kind data access that XP and earlier OS don't use (way of access), Vista use it! Stop all! Don't walk on circles, calm down. Write down step-by-step what you're doing. Get answers by right/wrong attempts isn't a good way. Think! heed everything you do... and you'll get it! Good luck!
  17. Oh, sorry. Yes, Power Supply
  18. English isn't my native idiom!!! I've got many times a problem like this, and, in my case, the sources were: 1 - a bad partition on the disk (I use partioned disk like you). I recreate the partitions using the Windows XP installation CD and with full format, not the quick option; 2 - I saw on the XP Event Viewer, ACPI messages errors, and I found out that the unit power was with some disfunction. I replaced it, and everything was fine.
  19. I work with computers since 1975, mainframes, and I never needed to use the "Administrator" account on this whole time. Of course, I'm talking about computer at home. When you install Windows you have administrator rights, you can do anything, but if you like to brush bits the best thing is: DOS 1.0 (beta)
  20. English isn't my native idiom, I'll try my best. Folks all of you forgot a important thing: the relation cost/benefit A hard disk is a mechanical equipment, if you defrag it every single day the cost of this must be very high! It's so different the normal tasks you do when use it normally from defragment it. The headers are under a high load, moving data from different tracks, sectors, etc., and grouping them in a temporary area, after they are moved to another area, and so on. I think once a week it's enough (it's the Vista default)
