hi i just started to use outpost pro 2.5 because ive read about its reviews well i like using a voip program called CQphone its requires 3 ports to be open inorder for it to work properly the ports are . Port 24960 TCP is used to receive incoming CQPhone calls. With some firewalls you must give cqphone.exe permission to listen on this port as a TCP server. · Port 24961 UDP is used for voice. · Port 24962 TCP is used for video well with in outpost the only port open is the 24960 tcp port ,,, so that means i cant hear nor see does any one know if its possible to open ports with outpost pro 2.5 and if so how can i accomplish this task ?

actually the winks and the buzzer is a flaw in my eyes it can be used for various attacks and i would suggest disabling them but then again thats just my point of view and besides that, they can get annoying if the wrong person used them lol

@prathapml just curious but why cant you use a pc thats running that for anything else,, is it really that bad ? and no im not trying to be rude or sarcastic im just very curious,, im thinking of toying with the ideal of my own mail server for perrsonal use.. and this thread caught my attention. so what would one have to do to set up there own mail server for personal use ? and how difficult is it ? to set up and maintain ? thanks

i dunno i bet that date will get pushed back, they kept pushing the last version back further and further , that date just seems alittle to close for a program so flaky,, dont get me wrong im using it now and i like it, but it does have alot of work that needs to be redone on it,

hi all im just doing some research and i was wondering if anybody is using a ftp server and if so what do you feel is the best ? for usability, reliability, and easy to use meaning dang near dummy proof lol so far ive read up on smartftp, WS FTP Pro v9.01, and a few others i hear / read that alot of ppl swear by WS FTP Pro v9.01 being the best. i dont doubt that its a fine program in deed,, id just like alot of feed back as to what other ppl use and feel thanks .

im not really sure but judging from all the glitches/ security holes they are trying to plug id say nothing sooner then a few more months maybe longer

hi im redoing a pc with a mobo ASUS A7M266-M and ive checked the site but i cant find any such mobo listed, now this mobo is in a hp pavillion 700 desktop and i just want to get all the drivers possible for it and besides im definatly needing the network drivers for it. right now im getting the problem with network/ethernet controller not installed, so im trying to locate the drivers needed any ideals anybody,,, ? ive tried driversguide and no luck there either, right now ive looked up the mobo and found its information which is here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...ocname=bph08116 and as you can see the ethernet is listed as Realtek RTL8139C now ive searched and downloaded this and installed it and it still having trouble with network/ethernet controller not found or installed.. im not sure if the drivers werent the right one, so can some one help me out pls thanks

well peeps i did some what find some answers to what i was trying to fix i still havnt got a chance to fix it yet because i can only get my hands on his pc once a week because its an hour away well anways to any one who wants the information. when looking at the drives, for some reason, flash card/memory card readers count as a drive or 2 all by there selves, so theres really no way of getting rid of them unless uninstalled but the answer to the second part of the question on how to change a drive letter is this Right click on 'My Computer' (on the desktop) and select 'Manage' from the drop down. Now on the left side of the new window click on 'Disc Management'. A display of all your drives will appear on the right side of the window. Right click the drive you want to work with and you'll be given a options to change 'Drive Letters', 'Format' (which will also ask you to assign a 'Drive Letter' (path) as well as partitioning changes. well i hope my findings help some one else out besides my self

ok heres another question about a hp pavillion 700 desktop pc heres the situation is it possible for a removable drive to show up in my computer if there isnt one installed ? there are 2 removable drives showing on the pc with no size volume at all except one says C: one says d: the os was installed on the G: now this is getting to be a strange pc but i want to help my brother work out all of these strange bugs, well he has trouble installing some progs because they always want to extract to the c drive and when they cant find it, it shows an error.. ok is there a way to fix this by some how getting rid of what says remoavable dives and put the right drive letter back onthe drive it should be on ?

hi im running xp pro sp2 and every time i test my disk in vpc whenever i shut the pc down, and on in vpc i cant help but notice the text on my new logonscreen and logoff it says some thing like, shutting down, saving blaaa blaaaa and then some thing similar to that at logon well my question is, is there a way to get rid of this because on the disk i made before with sp2 with my old custom logon, it didnt show this, now ive only added a few updated progs a few minor reg tweaks and a new logonui.exe file, is there some thing i can do ?
