hi, i have this cdrw for bout 2 years now, and just recently in the last 3 to 5 months its been going down hill with problem that i have no ideal how to fix if it even is fixable, the problem is every time i try to stick a cd in the drive it spits it out about a second or so later. let me get everyones advice or guidance if you dont mind. ive cleaned it with a cdrom cleaner disk for cdroms and still the problems occurs bout 90% of the time. any ideals is it fixable or just junk now ?

sounds like a logical ideal but im on cable/dsl and my speed is very fast,, its confusing to me.

well lately its been happening with hotmail and its quit annoying some times that aerror pops up like 5 to 10 times and as for some of the other sites, some times it wont even let me in some sites because of that error, i get this error when im surfing in google and its usually like the very top link that does this to me or one of the links on the side panel,,,, any other ideals guys. thanks

hi im just curious is any one else having trouble with fire fox like when you enter a few websites and you get this error popping up saying "the document does not contain any data" if any body has this same problem or has fixed it,, can you tell me why its doing this and how to perhaps fix it.. thanks

nm i fixed my problem i just didnt have the full extensions enabled ... duhh my bad sorry for posting this question.

hi i was trying to add and remove a few things from my winnt.sif file so i turned it into a txt file to alter some things in sp2 and now i cant seem to put it back to its original extension,,, does any one know how to fix this in sp2 because its seems microsoft has changed this file changing method alittle bit..

i just made an updated disk of sp2 slipstreamed and everything and now when i made it into a iso, and after the pc went after the 1 minute mark and went to reset it got to the old windows xp screen and then it frooze up and didnt go any further... does any one know what happened ... and by the way i hacked the kernal and replaced a new boot screen in it and its worked fine at the beginning of the disk at the first restart but when it did the restart after the 1 minute mark it went back to the old windows xp black screen and frooze up.. any one know why it did this...? thanks

heres the strange part its already saved at a good quality i believe because i got it off of themesxp as a prebuilt setup that i just have to place the files into my own logonui.exe , ill take your suggestion but can you give me an ideal of what a good quality would be... im pretty sure these are made to stats because they are premade fit and sized to a T.. but pls let me know what you think because im still in a muck thanks for the reply

no im trying to hack the copy that came out of my i386 folder i expanded the cab and now im trying to hack it before i modyfype it and recab it,, any ideals what im doing wrong ?

hi, im trying to hack the logonui.exe file by replaceing the images and i keep getting this error message can any body tell me why and why cant i replace any images or any thing ... access violation at address 00402791 in module reshacker.exe write of address 0187C000 im not sure what im doing wrong,, any help would be very appreciated.. thanks

go here http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/space_saving_tips.htm you can saftly delete whats on that page and save up to 159mb but if you want to drop it down more try nlite or josh's method or jdblock hope that helps you out
