i used xpize 3 the a few days ago also and then that microsoft update hit and it overwrite a few of the patches xpize wrote,, im running xp pro,, and the one that i notice is really the one where the files carry over/ transfer from one place to another,, other then that im not really sure

id say to save your self alot of cd-r's use vmware or virtual pc to test your xpcd's hope that helps thats just a suggestion

use nlite it can remove services

id say try using nlite it will work them into the driver cab file

hi my friend is trying to play this game on his pc championship manager season 2000-2001 and he's getting this error there is not enough available system memory to create the game please free up more and try again now he has 768mb of ram with 78 % free with a 12% load and its a fresh clean instal of xp pro but he still cant play this game,, does any one know whats wrong or how to fix this problem ?

hi i want to instal java for firefox but im not sure completly how for internet explorer i installed it like this with the ( IEXPLORER=1 ) and everything worked great but how do i do that for firefox, i know this might seem like a petty question but im really not sure how to go about this

thanks it helped but now i feel kinda bad it seems the bulk of that problem was an error on my part it seems i deleted the needed uk language file,, but its fixed now i redid the disk replacing the needed files thank you for your response

naa man actually its just an older straight forward setup set up of an unattended disk that im updateing for a friend of mine and back when sp2 first came out i had them make up the winnt.sif file with the creator and thats the code they had for there settings, it used to work but for some odd reason it wont work with that particular settings no more, so with that code i get the error but with out it, the instal carries through with no problems, i really do need the correct settings to finish off there disk, with out it, there regional settings wont be applied,, like keyboard and so forth any ideals on the correct settings for that region ? btw thanks for the reply

ok yall ive pinpointed the problem that was giving me the error its this section in my winnt.sif file now i could really use some help on this one can some one show me the more better way to set this regional settings to UK

ok ive just finished backing up my d drive and then reformating but it was strange that some wierd entity was in my d drive 2 1/2 g on the drive was unaccounted for and even with showing all hidden files and folders nothing showed up,, but any ways its gone now i reformated that drive so now i remade a basic unattended disk with out any added programs, i just used nlite and ryanvm's pack, and now i dont have the error i was looking at before so this means the error is definatly some where in my scripting, so now ill just redo it piece by piece no worries but its still a strange error and i have no ideal why the d drive was like that, if any one has any ideals to any of these issues that ive had, id like to know your opinion if you have one thank you

sad but yes, the only thing ive used from my old disk was just the programs but surely thats not the problem when it cant even get past the 39 min mark,, right now im backing up everything on my d drive and reformating it then im remaking this disk but just carrying over the old files from the old disk and updating it,,, the old disk worked fine thats why im surprised this is happening.. any ideals ?

hi, ive been racking my brains trying to figure out this problem but i cant seem to fix it, can some one look at it and tell me how i can attempt to try to fix this problem it seems no matter what i do to remake or build a unattended cd i get this error in vmware now it happens right at the 39 min mark, and its puzzling the hell outta me. pls take a look and give me your advice. thanks btw i dont have a i386 folder in my d drive and this work is on my c drive and tested on my c drive

i think spyware blaster works fine,, but its also still a nice ideal to run adware and spybot just for routine,

id say test in vpc or vmware, but if your just wanting the hotfixes and sp2 then id suggest taking alook at ryanvm's all in one pack, http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ its very easy to use hope that helps some

lol yes i added the orginal files for the cover designer, so they wouldnt be zero but he strange thing that hit me was that dll error,,, right now im adding those orginal files back also and retesting.

hi your script seems to run perfectly fine, when i tested it the standard way as you stated but then i altereed it to instal cover designer also, then on testing it that way i was prompted with this error message Install Error NeroBurnPlugin.dll could not be registered im curious do you know where i went wrong, all i did was remove the section that deletes anything to do with cover designer this was all that was removed from the Nero+NVE_Installer.cmd

now that is a shocker ill give it a try,,,, lol what have i got to lose

ok ive retested with this cmd line in my runonceex %systemdrive%\Install\Applications\OfficeXP\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST note i removed the /qb- to see if i could find any errors.. and this is what i got and the first image is the files i have in my officexp folder second is the error does anybody know what im doing wrong or what i should do to hopefully fix this

well looks like your right about it not being outlook related, i just ran a test in vmware with all components still intact and yet the problem still occured,, so ill run another test with the /qb- removed inhopes of seeing an error,, i didnt think to try that thank you and btw im using microsoft office xp pro with the hotfixes slipstreamed and nothing shrunk ill let ya know what happens after this next test thanks
