Lost Soul

ive checked the picture, its already at 256 for color and the file size is 150kb and its a saved bmp image, so im so clueless as to what this problem could be,,, how come i can get this very same image to work in bootxp and not in my kernal... why is it really like this, does any one have any ideal... this one is puzzling me , this is pretty much the last main thing i have left on my disk to fix everything else works perfect now ... if any body has any ideals please try your best to help me out on this thing

and here is what my bootscreen looks like now with all the distortion, i think i should try another kernal, but am not sure on what i should really do,,, every body let me know what you think pls ..

this is my setup screen, nothing much but id still like to get rid of the windows logo in the top left corner if any one knows how pls let me know but either way tell me what ya think,

id like to try vpc my self but its just so expensive

case modding is really nice im gonna mod my case in 2 ways, a tri-triangel design up top, to peer down into it and a big windows for the side, and i believe ill etch a dragon into it , then tint around the dragon with some 20 percent dark limo timt,, then the last thing ill do is put a small cathlode light hidden from the side so when its lite up it makes the dragon stand out so it looks thinker then what it really is and give just the dragon a glowing effect,,, what ya think of the ideal btw ive already done one window mod , by etching a hand with flames on it,, with my tint /light effect.. ill try to snap a pic of it to post it soon

hi i have an older version of nero 5.5 and i also have an updated version for the 5.5. i have the cd, but im not sure as how to instal it to my unattended cd, i was hoping it was just like nero 6.0 but i was wrong its alittle different, has any one instaled nero 5.5 from the instal disc,, if so what all should i do, right now i know the setup.exe file isnt enough,

btw i know this is off topic alittle but its related to my last post. would this line %systemdrive%/install/bootlogo.cmd since the / marks are backwards,, would that be the reason the bootlogo, is all distorted in color when its applied ?

well yes i do see the difference in the / to \ but i just thought that was how the tut went in the cosmetics threat but ill change it, you do make sense on that,, now as for the hotfixes.cmd ive looked in my batch_file.cmd and realised this was around the bottom ECHO. ECHO Deleting Temp Installation Files... RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\Drivers RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\install so that looks like your right its eraseing the hotfixes before i even get to it, thanks for your help im gonna take these lines and move them to the bottom of my hotfixes.cmd file right before the reset lines

hey thanks for the tweak aron them balloon tips bugs the hell out of me, lol i usually just use the tweak ui to turn them off but i wanted to go around having to do that .

hi i got a very strange problem with my bootscreen, when it becomes the bootscreen it is all disfigured in strange colors and the word professional is in the middle of it,, has anyone had this problem before ? and better yet does any one have any klews as how to fix this problem because its very ugly lol,

hi i got a strange problem with adding the hot fixes not supported by regular means.. well first off ive figured out while my pc was shutting off before time and yes aron your right it wasnt because of them hot fixes it was because i had a rest featur added into both scripts my batch file and my hotfixes.cmd file,, go figure lol,, but any ways heres my question that i seem to be having trouble with and i cant figure out why,, well here it is,, i was just testing my unattended cd and it was installing fine until i got to the hotfixes.cmd part. well when it got to this part an error poped up saying that C:\install\hotfixes\hotfixes.cmd could not be found.. well this is what i have in my winnit.sif file [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%/install/bootlogo.cmd %systemdrive%\install\batch_file.cmd %systemdrive%\install\hotfixes\hotfixes.cmd and i have the file named Hotfixes.cmd and its placed in this directory \$1\Install\hotfixes i dont understand why its comming up with an error saying that it cant be found ... could it be case sensitive on the "h" in hotfixes maybe ? im not really sure as to what this problem is.. so does any one have any ideals ?

does any body know what the registry tweak for turning off the balloon tips is ?

im not sure but i believe what made my pc reset was an error in the media player hotfix, but im gonna retest this soon and let you know, but if it is an error in that particular hot fix, what should i do in that case ?

ECHO Installing Q823718 Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components start /wait %systemdrive%\install\hotfixes\Q823718.exe /T:%systemdrive%\install\tmp /C:"%systemdrive%\install\tmp\dahotfix.exe /q /n" /Q EXIT and then put it in winnif.ini file like this [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\install\hotfixes\hotfixes.cmd how come this makes my pc restart while the pc is still installing my programs and stuff.. it restarts before everything ever finishes.. is there a way to make these hotfixes instal and still have everything else instal with out having these types of problems, i want these updates and i also want everything else to still instal,,, how can i fix this,,

how can i make the top left corner logo that says windows xp,, how can i make that transparent so it dosnt have the black back ground and it can look good with any back ground i choose ? and if this isnt possible,, is it possible to just remove the logo all together,,,, if i removed it, would that hurt the functioning of that set up screen ? let me know what ya think..

hi im having trouble installing these 2 updates,, first off i get an error when trying to instal updates Q817787 which is the wmp update and the other update is Q823718 these files are in the same .cmd file but the thing is how can i have these 2 fixes update and not mess up the rest of my instal because these files are installing then forcing my pc to restart and when its doing this its always in the middle of still installing my programs, so the instal never fully instals because when installing these 2 hotfixes it forces the pc to restart before everything is installed,,, now am i doing some thing wrong here ? is there a way to fix this, because i think some thing miust be wrong because it dont let my cd fully instal everything,,, if any one has any ideals for me pls help.. thanks

yeah ive just got my wallpaper, and my bootscreen to work now, now ive just got to fix a few more probs then go on to adding more to my disk

i im having trouble with my wallpaper and my boot screen ... ive done the tut in this thread but my wallpaper still isnt going as my default wallpaper but it is going in my wallpaper list,,, and also my bootscreen, isnt working, its still the regular xp pro bootscreen, i think some thing is wrong because it says bootlogo.cmd - windows cant fint it,, then after that it goes into installing my progs,, does any one know whats going on, ive done everything the tut says but am still having trouble but the one thing that does work is my theme i just wish i could get the rest to work now,,, after i get these things to work, ill go onto the next few probs that my disk has... does any one have any ideals on how i can fix these problems ?
