wel guys, i know now that the hd demand of vista is down when you vlite it. it normally asks for 16gb, but after the vlitement, is is satisfied with 8 gb. so thats cool, but the memory demand wont drop man. but thats work for nuhi bye bye damian666

i for one use vm ware. install a xp on it play the dvd in the guest xp, pause it and go to the vmware menu to take a screenshot its that simple damian666

hi guys, i think the problem is in the folder that nlite uses for the themes. i checked there and the styles are not cabbed right. when you extract them they show as blabla.mst, instead of blabla.msstyles. so just repack your themes by yourself and replace them. damian666

well no problem man, i like to do that stuff so, and no its not done man. i think there are still icons left to change. i will keep searching... and no you dont need to have a custum sfc file. because you patch your install files, windows wont even know that its the wrong resource. cool huh. oh that cmd stuff, is not mine btw, i just customized it to my needs. and you can post it if you like. for our little project! damian666

hi squeeto, well i have had a look, and found a whole bunch of the icons in 2000. i tried it on my 2000 installation by integrating them in my setup files. and it works fine! and that first v_sta pack is really made for 2000. so maybe its a mistake or something thats not done yet. i will send you what i got so far. umm its 10mb so i dont know if i can send it by email. ill try. damian666

hi ast, well you have to recab them before you make your iso. and when you look in the folder you see that everything is cab't one by one. so you cab your theme, then your visual style and maybe your shellstyle, but all seperated! then you must make sure that you name them exacly the same!!! thats important because setup will try to search for that file. and then just replace the wrong files with your own cab't files. that is it. glad i could help. damian666

hi ast, well i did tell you i would let you know huh! the solution is in the themes directotie that nlite makes : nlvst in I386. the themes and styles are not cab't right. when i extract them the filenames are cut off. so windows dont recognize them as themes. thats the proplem! so just cab them by hand and replace them. thats all there is! i did it that way and now it works like a charm! bye bye damian666

well squeeto, than i can only do one thing, and thats look for icons that are made by other people for 2000 that are vista like. i dont know if there are any, but i will try. good luck damian666

well, i dont think its possible to increase the color depth because there are no drivers loaded for your videocard yet. but maybe im wrong? and changing the bootscreen is already possible. damian666

well i would go for nlite vista if i were you. it sounds cool, and makes it easy to get what it is about! so you got my vote! and please release that beta version of it damian666
