  1. Well, it looks like AOL Shield for Windows XP and Vista has been abandoned, as the browser is now called "AOL Shield Pro" and is now based on Chromium instead of Firefox, and as such requires Windows 7 or later. I have added the last known version for Windows Vista to the list (thanks to @i430VX for providing a download link):

  2. Most people are not even aware that each of the three types of flash player installers come in two different flavors: (i) one signed with sha256 (which XP considers invalid because it does not know how to authenticate, despite their being OK), which can be downloaded from the links you posted; (ii) another signed with sha1 (which XP does authenticate as OK), from the links @Bersaglio used to post and which I have posted this time, since he didn't. Those links change with every new version, but are easy to create by hand once the version number of the latest release is known. However both flavors of installers have the same payload, for each one of the three existing types of flash player. Now, those who find what I just said confusing or do not know what I'm actually talking about may as well ignore it totally, since it's just a daetail of little importance for most of us, except for those affected by supermegaueberparanoid (me included, in this case) tendencies, and want to validate the installers before use, without having to make use of a Vista+ machine just for that. That's all there is to it,

  3. Can I ask why different threads are created with regard to this? IMHO all these questions and requests should be put together in a single thread, one that has already been created for some time: aero glass for version 1803

  4. The issues are not immediately obvious. If you look at the properties of a shortcut and select the "Find Target" button, does it work? It not working is one of the symptoms of the bug(s) in the recent versions of oleaut32.dll.

  6. Thanks for the addition! Added to the list. However, I must point out that only the 32 bit build works in Windows Vista, as upon attempting to launch the 64 bit build, I was greeted with this error:
