  7. Development progress insights: The youtube.lua script by AstroSkipper I have completely reworked my youtube.lua script. Now, the title of the video stream and an English subtitle is shown in VLC if available and selected by the user. Settings of both are done in the VLC settings which is then read by my script. The complete script has been optimised for best performance under Windows XP on my old, weak P4 machine. And no JavaScript challenges, of course. Here is a short GIF file: On a computer with multi-processor technology and modern RAM, this runs at lightning starting speed, of course, compared to my single-processor computer with SD-RAM from 2000 and a stream starting time of 30 seconds. You probably won’t even see the flashing CMD window anymore or at most one nano-flash. In the process of developing, I’ve managed to reduce the number of flashing CMD windows from four to one.. In any case, VLC and YouTube are working perfectly together again, even on Windows XP.

  9. Greetings, I only document all the hidden ini options in WinNTSetup.ini.txt. But @click-click made and pdf for the GUI ones: https://www.mediafire.com/file/znuf574scdac94d/WinNTGUI2Ini.pdf/file

  10. No problem! You're right! On a powerful machine, you probably won't notice a difference. My Windows XP computer is very slow and low on system resources. Therefore, I noticed the changes very clearly.

  11. Thanks a lot for your assessment and opinion! I am glad to hear that. Have you noticed a change in the appearance, behaviour or responsiveness of the various programs and their windows?

  12. You mean you did not receive the "Do you still want to move or copy the folder?" message? Correct! If you have 7-Zip installed, the easiest way is to double-click onto the archive and copy the folder "ProxHTTPSProxy_TLS_1_3_1_5_220717_PopMenu_3V3" inside my archive to any location by using a file manager. In Total Commander, it even works without 7-Zip. No need to rename anything! No conflicts at all!

  13. If I spend many hours or more writing long articles, posts or documentations in English, which is definitely not my mother tongue, then the user or reader should at least make the effort to use a translation service if their language skills are not sufficient. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  14. Read first the document file READ ME FIRST!.txt! If your language skills are not sufficient, translate it using Google Translator or much better DeepL! At the moment, there is no video clip, and frankly, I don't like that! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  16. Hello to all users of my recently released program package ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu TLS 1.3 3V3! The last time, when I released ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu 3V1, the feedback was rather poor, i.e. almost non-existent. This time, I really need your feedback! Please, post your opinions, experiences, observations, further suggestions of improvement and so on! And, I would like to know whether you like my program package or not, and why! In any case, it was not an easy work, I changed many things, and I spent a lot of time to do that all. And you certainly know an author of software lives from the feedback of the users! Especially, when everything is provided free of charge! In any case, I am very curious about your posts. Thanks in advance! Cheers, AstroSkipper
