  1. The 153 error relates to the referrer header – Google have decided that when embedding a video you can't block it any more. It's worth noting that when these useless error codes appear that you can right-click ... copy debug info ... paste that info somewhere you can read it, and then look towards the bottom for: "debug_error" The 153 error will reveal itself as: "embedder.identity.missing.referrer" which is the clue that it is caused by a missing referrer header. Ben.

  2. I assume that @Zorba the Geek is looking for a client targeting Windows XP. However, your recommended email client Betterbird requires at least Windows 7 64bit.

  3. @roytam1 already told you no: ... so, given that response, I was only trying to help. I'm sorry if you find it too "inconvenient," but you have a workaround now. And you only need to inconvenience yourself once for each add-on you install.

  4. Well, I for one certainly hope that metro uwp framework and immersive shell *NEVER* gets backported to XP, lol.

  6. Oh I see. I thought you meant his Firefox builds for 7 and 8. All good then. Whew!

  7. Well the forks do. Not the standard product. And there are other applications other than browsers that have challenges. Anyway, all good

  8. This thread is about @roytam1's browsers targeting legacy OSes. And that means even browsers under Windows 7 and Windows 8 as they are also legacy in the meanwhile. But I think @Zorba the Geek is looking for a solution under Windows XP.

  9. I have tried Interlink, MailNews and Epyrus. None of them can work with OAuth2 (at least for Outlook). I've since installed Betterbird, back in the spring. All good now

  10. Yes. Install it from the Mozilla Add-ons page! For example the British English Dictionary (the only real English ): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/british-english-dictionary-2/ Here is a screenshot taken from my Mypal 74.1.4 installation:

  11. @feodor2 released Mypal 74.1.4 some days ago. Today, I have installed it and made some tests. The good news: my favoured Alice0775 script loading method still seems to be working with this new version, without any additional modifications. The bad news: the Custom Buttons extension stopped working completely.

  12. I haven't used these extensions for years. All modifications are done by me manually inside extensions themselves if they need to be fixed. And that means I am not interested in these two extensions at all. They are of no use to me.

  14. What locations? The page didn't say anything about the service continuing to work in other locations. That doesn't say anything about other European countries. Ok, I'm going to assume you guys are just trolling here. I thought this was a serious discussion on a technical site, but apparently it isn't.

  15. @Karla Sleutel What kind of technical knowledge do you have that lets you dismiss this serious issue with a "the user could be from a troublesome location"? You clearly haven’t, because if you had, you would have immediately discovered that the registration process is broken due to the captcha missing. The captcha provider (KeyCaptcha) has shut down their service. Instead, you chose to derail the discussion by nitpicking something that wasn’t even a mistake. And your claim about Europeans being taught only British English is downright absurd. I know plenty of people who are neither British nor American and still use American English and its spelling. Anyway, thanks to everyone who actually helped resolve this issue.

  16. Hello fellow members . As some of you already know , Instagram went totally nuts and tighten up their security lately . The levels are insane . Just a couple of examples from MSFN topics. Members reporting not working videos : https://msfn.org/board/topic/178259-instagram-videos-not-working-in-firefox-52-esr/ From a French member : "all my browsers don't work (get loggin page) after getting this login page in one of my browsers..." "New surprise to me: I get the login page after 3 times reloading page ..." https://msfn.org/board/topic/178259-instagram-videos-not-working-in-firefox-52-esr/?do=findComment&comment=1211117 I am also having the exact same problem , even now , when I had to purchase a "good" VPN . A very funny discovery just came to my attention : Instagram favours IP addresses from some coutries , such as Russia and similar !!! Who would have thought !?!? From my real IP I get the login page after the 3 times of reloading , just like @msfntor, but if I switch to a russian IP - voilà : no more login crap !!! The problem is , this VPN service doesn't have some IPs constantly, so it's not a good solution . And as of now, it got worse, I can't even login from my real IP anymore ! Please help to find clean proxie lists . All well-known VPN solutions do not work . Instagram knows about them , obviously !!! Thank you all ! P.S. A side note , it doesn't have to be super secure , ordinary proxies would do just fine . Instagram already knows about me and my IP.

  17. Surely didn't look that way when you swallowed that insuit . I mean, when Vistapocalypse called you (us) id*ots for using the word "dude" , indirectly of course .... but still. P.S. I totally agree with Tripredacus , we gotta be nice . While I beleive such insults shouldn't be tolerated .

  18. Your service provider has nothing to do with it . It's instagram not liking your IP because it's French. I got the same problem .
